    Human Resource Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a HR strategy in consultation with the Managing Director.
    • Advice management and employees on HR issues and policies; mandatory procedures, staff handbook and local laws Take lead in the review and development of HR.
    • Provide leadership and manage the HR business processes (recruitment; orientation; performance management; staff leave and medical; staff reward; benefits etc.) while ensuring that HR systems are up to date and functioning 
    • Prepare Human Resource Forecasts in consultation with Departmental heads or managers, scoping and justification of proposed and existing roles in the business strategy by recommending optimal staff establishment.
    • Design Human Resources plans to bridge staffing gaps and deal with surplus capacity through coordination of recruitment, selection and placement of staff as per the approved work force plans.
    • Administer the implementation of health and safety policies and processes and ensure continuous staff education on health and safety activities to ensure security and safety of the company and its employees.
    • Advice departmental heads or managers on the staff turnover and propose measures for talent retention.
    • Advice staff and managers on application of performance management system, refresher trainings, advise on managing poor performance and linking performance review to annual increments and learning and development initiatives 
    • Support in establishing the skill gaps within Business and facilitate training needs analysis.
    • Facilitate the preparation of job descriptions for new roles; ensure that the job roles and KPIs are well defined.
    • With the senior management team and line managers ensure that performance management is implemented effectively. 
    • Drive the organizational culture initiatives. 
    • Supporting and advising the Business Units on the opportunities for improvement of employee relations.
    • Compensation management and manage the annual pay and benefits review process in compliance with legal requirements and human resource policy.
    • In liaison with the Departmental heads, ensure that leave plans are in place and are adhered to.
    • Legal responsibility relating to areas of Labour Law, Tax Laws, Social Insurance Law, etc. 
    • Champion and enforce Labour laws as constituted within the country and the company’s Policies.
    • Support with creation, implementation and interpretation of the policies and procedures and assess compliance by all employees within the organization. 
    • Take lead and play advisory roles in disciplinary procedures and grievances including conducting investigations 
    • Work on Staff Welfare Program 
    • Support line managers through change management and restructuring processes 
    • Provide HR monthly and annual reports plus any that may be required by the Managing Director.
    • Frequently support and advise on Human Resources challenges and issues facing the managers or departmental heads.
    • Support in administrative function.
    • Manage special HR projects initiated by HQ as and when need arise.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a business related field.
    • A postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management is an added advantage.
    • Professional membership (IHRMK Membership) and CHRP Certification is a must.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a busy HR environment with three years in management.
    • Experience in manufacturing set up will be desirable.
    • Must be well conversant with the labor laws and ethical HR practices.

    Factory Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure swift and smooth plant start-ups and shutdowns through effective handovers at the start/end of every shift. 
    • Review production special orders and schedule earliest delivery. 
    • Monitor process output to ensure that client product specification, quality and plant efficiency is sustained. 
    • Monitor and coordinate the implementation of 5s and GEMBA (Housekeeping). 
    • Investigate/ escalate customer complaints and provide timely feedback for management action. 
    • Maintain employee and site safety in OSHA compliance for the production 
    • Interpret design drawings and give recommendations on best workable solutions. 
    • Timely dispatch of all customer orders without short supply, confirm quality, and supporting documentation at dispatch point. 
    • Work with both procurement and production to ensure no stock out, especially on packaging materials, also to maintain required stock level. 
    • Periodic stock count exercises. 
    • Regularly and independently, check stock balances. 
    • Ensure proper arrangement of materials in the store and Control inventory movements by using the First in First out (FIFO) technique. 
    • Receiving and verifying incoming materials in production and ensuring full documentation is accompanied. 
    • Capturing production in ERP system- Sage Evolution. 
    • Manage an inventory movement schedule on a daily basis, Checking RE-order levels

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A minimum of a degree in Production/ Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Chemistry is desirable although not compulsory
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in management especially personnel management
    • Previous experience in manufacturing set up will be an added advantage. 
    • Must demonstrate attributes of strong leadership, planning, firmness and ability to adhere to company policies.

    Branch Manager

    Key responsibilities and accountabilities: 

    General administration:

    • Monitor performance of all branch employees. Manage daily attendance including leave scheduling.
    • Enforce company policies, procedures, processes, and rules at the branch.
    • Safeguard all company assets including IT infrastructure, raising any repairs, maintenance, and replacement requirements.
    • Ensure all required regulatory licences /permits for the branch are validly in place.
    • Share any competitor’s intelligence in the region the branch is located.
    • Provide reports required by Management.

    Sales/Marketing:

    • Achieving growth by hitting individual sales targets and by managing sales team to achieve their target/s for branch performance.
    • Ensure all sales administration processes e.g., quotations, invoicing, deliveries etc. at the branch are dealt with promptly.
    • Share monthly sales forecasts report for the branch.
    • Monitor and control all sales debts at the branch.

    Workshop floor operations:

    Stores Management:

    • Coordinate stock transfers, monitor proper and timely recording on Mars system and any physical records.
    • Participate in stocks audits, monitor stock levels and physical stocks custody.

    HR:

    • Coordinate HR activities at the branch. Raise any staff recruitment need, training need, performance management, and disciplinary issues with the Managing Director in liaison with the HR Manager.
    • Coordinate health and safety matters at the branch.
    • Ensure smooth office operations with timely opening/closing of the branch and procurement of all needed supplies.
    • Monitor branch contractors such as security services.
    • Facilitate major communication between the branch and other company areas.

    Finance:

    • Ensure debts collection updates weekly report is sent to Head office.
    • Ensure daily accounting activities related to invoicing, cash receipts and banking are dealt with and required records are available.
    • Timely raise any financial requirements with head office ensuring all expenditures are duly and properly supported and are for company use only. 
    • Provide input for the branch annual budget.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Diploma/bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering /sales & marketing/Business management with over 3 years managerial experience preferably in the same position in the automotive engineering sector.
    • Good knowledge of company products /services, processes and procedures and business operating environment.
    • Ability to work in a matrix organization structure with direct and dotted reporting lines.

    Store Managers

    • Fully accountable for stock management and control
    • Ensure all purchasing requirements are properly authorised / approved and followed up with suppliers. 
    • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and receiving of all ordered /transferred goods ensuring verification, and ERP System entries. Create new parts in the ERP System with approved sales margins.

    • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards, ensure stocks are well arranged with ease of trace and use.
    • Provide leadership, create, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
