PURPOSE:
The ICT Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our digital assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing our overall security strategy. You will leverage your expertise in risk assessment, threat analysis, and security technologies to protect our organization in an ever-evolving threat landscape.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Risk Management & Assessment
- Spearhead quarterly risk assessments across IT infrastructure
- Identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies
- Maintain and optimize our ICT risk control register
Security Monitoring & Incident Response
- Lead proactive network monitoring using advanced tools
- Investigate and respond to security alerts with urgency
- Contribute to our incident response planning and execution
Threat Intelligence & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth analysis of emerging cyber threats
- Translate complex threat data into actionable insights
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement preventative measures
Compliance & Policy Development
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the evolution of our security policies
- Conduct regular ICT compliance attestations and reporting
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Deliver compelling risk assessment presentations to leadership
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders
- Drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
Academic and Professional Requirements
Education
- Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field E
- Professional Qualification CISSP, CISA, or CRISC required; CEH or OSCP a plus D
Experience Required:

PURPOSE:
This role will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks across our diverse operations in multiple jurisdictions, while also supporting financial processes and ensuring regulatory compliance across various regulatory frameworks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various business units in Kenya and regional offices
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes that are adaptable to different jurisdictional requirements
- Utilize data analytics tools such as Power BI to analyze risk data and create insightful risk reports for management and the aboard of directors
- Automate risk management processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across all offices
- Rate controls and translate operational risks into quantitative reports, considering regional variations
- Develop and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) that are relevant to each jurisdiction
- Collaborate with different departments and regional teams to ensure risk management practices are integrated throughout the organization
- Prepare and present risk analysis reports to senior management, highlighting regional trends and global implications
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to risk management in all relevant jurisdictions
- Ensure effective data management practices that comply with various data protection regulations
