Job Purpose: 

The Internship program will provide an opportunity to gain hands on work- experience, expand knowledge, refine career goals and build professional network and mentors

Responsibilites:

• Support staff – works well with various teams (internal and external)
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
• WHOIS checks and cleanup
• Any other relevant work that may be assigned to the job holder from time to time.
• Systems Documentation. 

Education and Experience: 

• A recent graduate and holder of Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or IT related course.
• Knowledgable on Cybersecurity will be an added advantage.
• Understanding network protocals and system administration tasks

Required competencies:

• Personable, presentable and articulate.
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Office and excel
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and cloud computing.
• Communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills

• Gain exposure in Procurement and asset management.
• Assist in the sourcing and evaluation process of suppliers
• Maintain an up to date list of prequalified suppliers
• Perform front office duties such as receiving guests and answering calls.
• Offer support services to various departments such as filing, photocopying and scanning
• Learn and assist in procurement of items by requisition office supplies and equipment and preparing Local purchase orders, receiving invoices and ensuring suppliers are paid on time.
• Maintain up to date database records of suppliers and offer support in stock taking and issuance
• Support the administration team in executing activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Perform any other assigned duties from time to time.

Education and Experience: 

• A recent graduate and holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement management , supply Chain management from a recognised institution.
• Having a Diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain Management or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution will be an added advantage.

Job Purpose:

As a Marketing intern, you will actively support various initiatives, participating in the planning and execution of both digital and offline marketing activities and events.

Main Duties/Key Accountabilities:

• Collaborate in creating compelling and engaging content across diverse platforms, such as social media, websites, email marketing, newsletters, and print materials.
• Monitor social media channels, bring attention to inquiries, and analyze performance metrics.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of events, both online and offline, aimed at promoting KeNIC’s products.

Responsibilities: 

• Support team to plan, develop and execute marketing initiatives
• Support projects related to branding, content creation and social media marketing
• Draft and edit internal and external communications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Handle inbound requests from vendors and partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for communication materials
• Utilize analytics tools to track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns
• Monitor trends, feedback and satisfaction levels
• Contribute fresh ideas that can enhance KeNIC’s standing
• Prepare proposals and reports as required.
• Write and publish articles, blog posts, and press releases
• Produce creative, high-quality short-form video content for TikTok weekly, showcasing .KE success stories, brand awareness, and promotional campaigns.
• Other responsibilities as may be assigned.

Education and Experience: 

• A final-year student or recent graduate holding a degree in Marketing.
• Proficient in the WordPress platform.
• Basic digital marketing skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite for creating marketing copy.
• Desired skills include a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and the Canva design platform.
