    Nursing Officer III

    Job Description

    The successful candidate shall be responsible for the following roles:

    • Providing general nursing care services to patients.
    • Assessing patients’ needs, planning, and implementing nursing interventions.
    • Reviewing care strategies towards patients and monitoring & evaluating the outcomes.
    • Verifying and maintaining information relating to patients.
    • Keeping records of drugs and other supplies as administered to patients.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

     

    (b) Job requirements

    For appointment to this position, an applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:

    • A Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • A bachelor’s degree in Nursing or its equivalent and a post basic certificate course in nursing from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
    • Be a member of their respective professional body with a practicing license.
    • Must have working experience of at least two (2) years in same or similar position.
    • Ability to demonstrate good nursing skills and capacity to work under pressure.

    Assistant Chief ICT Officer

    Job Description

    The scope of the Assistant Chief ICT Officer will encompass the overall review, implementation, and monitoring of the Hospital ICT infrastructure. The successful candidate shall be responsible for the following specific roles:

    • Software Support including Windows Desktop Support and Administration.
    • Word Press website development and management.
    • Administration of quick books point of sale & Enterprise Solutions.
    • Supporting Microsoft Active Directory Domain Environment (2003/2008),
    • Administration of Windows Server 2012 R2.
    • Maintaining local help desk system, offline, and online client support.
    • Hardware Support Services including HP servers Maintenance, Proxy server Knowledge, HP desktops maintenance, Cisco/Mikrotik Routers, and Switches Maintenance.
    • Management of Database Systems: Access, MYSQL Server.
    • User support & Training on financials, procurement, Human resource.
    • Maintain key systems and infrastructure for continuous availability.
    • Help Desk/1st line technical fixes/troubleshooting to address incidents and relevant service requests.
    • To manage/support remotely /onsight all IT business needs of Dynamics NAV 2018.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

     

    (b) Job requirements

    For an appointment to this position, an applicant must meet the following minimum requirements:

    • Be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification from a recognized university in Kenya.
    • Certification in CCNA course
    • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent qualification from a recognized university in Kenya will be an added advantage.
    • Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices.
    • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work within a team and independently.
    • Familiarization with Google analytics.
    • Experience with website development and optimization tools.
    • Knowledge of video and picture editing software such as Adobe
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, and DNS, Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Must have served in the same level or similar position for more than three (3) years.
    • Ability to demonstrate good ICT skills and capacity to work under pressure.
    • Excellent interpersonal and general communication skills.

    Assistant Chief Internal Auditor

    Job Description

    The scope of the Assistant Chief Internal Auditor will encompass the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of the organizational governance, risk management process, system of internal control structure, and the quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities so as to achieve the organizational stated goals and objectives. The successful candidate shall be responsible for the following specific roles:

    • Determining the scope of internal audit work, and for recommending the action to be taken on the outcome of findings from their work.
    • Reviewing the reliability and integrity of financial and operating information and the means used to identify measure, classify, and report such information.
    • Reviewing the systems established to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations which could have a significant impact on operations and reports and whether the organization is in compliance.
    • Reviewing the means of safeguarding assets and, as appropriate, verifying the existence of such assets.
    • Reviewing and appraising the economy and efficiency with which resources are employed.
    • Reviewing operations or programs to ascertain whether results are consistent with established objectives and goals and whether the operations or programs are being carried out as planned.
    • Reviewing specific operations at the request of the committee or Equivalent or Board, as appropriate.
    • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the organizational risk management system.
    • To ensure that the board and management and other relevant stakeholders are fully and regularly informed of the outcomes of internal audit’s work.
    • To facilitate the work of external auditors by providing them with the information they may require i.e. annual audit work plans, management letters, system documentation, and any other necessary information.
    • Internal Audit is also responsible for conducting their work in accordance with the standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Audit established by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
    • The Internal Audit Department will be responsible for appropriate follow-up on engagement findings and recommendations. All significant findings will remain in an open issues file until cleared.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by the Management.

    Job requirements

    • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
    • Active member of ICPAK or IIA
    • Must have served as an Auditor or similar position for three (3) years.
    • Computer skills in audit software
    • Ability to demonstrate good auditing skills and capacity to work under pressure.
    • Excellent interpersonal and general communication skills.
    • Experience in working within a Hospital set up will be an added advantage.
