    Stores Manager

    Insteel Limited is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Stores Manager

    Main Purpose:

    Effectively and efficiently manage store operations while ensuring that business continuity is not interrupted due to stock outs

    Specification

    1. Oversee day to day running of all store operations and ensure excellent customer service.
    2. Develop and implement inventory stock levels for spares, standard and non-standard finished goods and ensure set lead times are met.
    3. Keep track of stock order levels and ensure adherence to re-order levels to avoid stock outs.
    4. Collaborate with procurement team to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of stocks.
    5. Periodically review physical inventories to facilitate disposal of expired and obsolete stocks in line with company procedures.
    6. Ensure all incoming materials are checked for quality and quantity and verification done against invoice, purchase order, packing slip and other relevant documents.
    7. Ensure proper record keeping of all documents related to goods received and issued.
    8. Ensure the store is clean, properly arranged and retrieval of items is with ease.
    9. Carry out regular stock take to enhance accuracy and integrity of system generated stock reports.
    10. Continuously review store operations and make recommendations on areas of improvement for management decision making.
    11. Conduct performance reviews for direct reports and embed the culture of coaching and continuous team development.
    12. Prepare regular reports as guided.

    Requirements

    1. Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management or equivalent.
    2. Experience: At least 5 years working experience in a similar position in a busy manufacturing setup.
    3. Knowledge in ERP systems (SAP).

    Market Intelligence and Insights Manager

    MRM Mariakani is seeking to recruit a suitable individual to work as a Dispatch Clerk in the Supply Chain Department. The position reports to the Supply Chain Officer

    Overall Purpose of the Position

    Responsible for efficient logistics related to exports and upcountry dispatches, related documentation and compliance.

    Specification

    1. Liase with planning and operations team and transporters for trucks planning or placement for exports and upcountry dispatches
    2. Monitor truck movements until the orders are delivered to customers
    3. Liase with clearing Agents for boarder clearance and truck exit
    4. Generate Delivery Notes, Gate Passes, Loading Slips, Invoices and other dispatch related documents as per the STOs quantity / requested requirement from customer in SAP.
    5. Liase with customer for documentation support, timely clearance of documents and dispatch from point of origin
    6. Establish and maintain an effective filling system for easy reference and retrieval
    7. Ensure full compliance with policies, regulations and ISO process flow
    8. Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly and requested reports on time
    9. Proactively address and resolve any dispatch issues that arise.
    10. Continously research, share and keep updated information on best efficient loading and dispatch practises

    Requirements

    • A Business Diploma from a recognized institution
    • At least 3 years working experience in a similar work environment.
    • Experience with ERP programs preferably SAP
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Dispatch Coordinator

    MRM Mariakani is seeking to recruit a suitable individual to works as a Dispatch Coordinator in our Supply Chain Department. The position reports to the Supply Chain Officer.

    Overall Purpose of the Position

    Responsible for efficient planning and coordination of logistics related to exports and upcountry dispatches, maintaining proper documentation and ensuring compliance to all our operational procedures on material dispatch.

    Specification

    • Ensuring that sales orders are accurately processed in the system according to customer or Sales Manager instructions.
    • Ensuring prompt issuance of pro forma invoice as per our procedures.
    • Coordinating with production planning team to ensure timely readiness and delivery of orders.
    • Coordinating payment terms in collaboration with the Sales and Finance departments.
    • Coordinating with transporters to provide trucks for loading ready material.
    • Generating Delivery Notes, Gate Passes, Loading Slips, and Invoices as per the STOs quantity / requested requirement from customer in SAP.
    • Tracking of orders until they are delivered to customers.
    • Ensuring accuracy of shipping documents.
    • Liaising with the clearing agent for border clearance and truck exit.
    • Ensuring proper record keeping of all shipping documents for audit purposes.
    • Reporting daily circulation of Local and Export order dispatches.
    • Liasing with line managers for any special dispatch requirements.
    • Proactively addressing and resolving any dispatch issues that arise.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Business Management
    • Post-graduate certification in Logistics/ Transportation/ Supplies Management will be an added advantage
    • At least 5 years working experience in a similar work environment.
    • Experience with ERP programs preferably SAP
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications especially MS Excel and MS Word programs.
