    Accounts Assistant

    Job Description

Swissport Kenya Limited is recruiting for the position of Accounts Assistant based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. We are looking for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills,

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Ensure safe custody of company cheque books, legal documents and vehicle log books
    2. Ensure prompt receipt of all cash, cheque, TT and credit card sales proceeds as collected.
    3. Ensure prompt banking of all cash and cheque collections on a daily basis.
    4. Monitor and control receipts for counter sales activities and ensure posting to the cash book.
    5. Monitor all counter sales activities ensuring that proceeds thereof are banked promptly and complete.
    6. Receive and check Counter Sales Reports and prepare timely payment to respective beneficiaries.
    7. Prepare payment vouchers and write cheques as required.
    8. Update cash books on a daily basis ensuring positive bank balance is maintained at all times.
    9. Process payment vouchers and receipts in SAP and ensure accuracy of cash transactions data in the system.
    10. Prepare monthly reconciliation of GL cash accounts to Cash Books
    11. Handle operational/office petty cash and reimbursements.
    12. Maintain proper filing system for receipts, cheque payments and bank statements and correspondence.
    13. Follow up and ensure all outstanding debtor balances are received within agreed credit terms.
    14. Receipt debtor payments and allocate in the system
    15. Prepare a weekly aged debt analysis report and circulate to Management.
    16. Prepare and despatch monthly customer statements and reconcile debtor accounts
    17. Maintain customer files, update billing matrix and advise management when contracts are due for renewal.

    Service Delivery Lead – Ramp Services

    Job Description

    Swissport Kenya Limited is recruiting for the position of Service Delivery Lead – Ramp Services based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. We are seeking a professional with a proven track record in service delivery provision that will lead, motivate, engage and inspire all staff across multiple teams to ensure the delivery of great customer experiences in line with the Swissport formula, procedure, policies and brand values.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Daily allocations in line with customers and operations requirements.
    2. Ensure available resources are used to the optimum level (monitor and control overtime payments within targeted budgets)
    3. Supervise/control and follow up staff attendance and absence.
    4. Responsible for the disciplinary process of the team
    5. Create and maintain a progressive, open feedback culture by managing the performance of employees.
    6. Maintain, monitor and report on agreed key performance indicators (KPI’s) using all available tools and systems.
    7. Ensure compliance with all SOP’s and policies in order to meet or exceed regulatory standards and deliver the desired customer service experience.
    8. Maintain and control activities to ensure work safety, health and environmental protection within the area of responsibility.
    9. Production of daily shift and performance reports.

    Qualifications

    1. Education: University Degree in Business or related field
    2. Professional Qualifications: Training in Cargo Handling, Logistics and Supply Chain will be an added advantage
    3. Experience: 3 years’ Ground / Cargo Handling experience in People Management
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    5. Commercial acumen
    6. Good planner who pays attention to detail and is a team player
    7. Leadership and people management skills
    8. Problem solving and decision making skills
