    Software Developer


    The Software Developer will be engaged in all phases of the software development lifecycle that include gathering and analysing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models. Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test and debug programs to meet business needs and interact and sometimes direct third party partners in the achievement of business and technology initiatives.

    Education and knowledge

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related degree;
    • Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field;
    • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude required;
    • Knowledge of the software development life cycle.

    Project Assistant


    The Project Assistant will work under the Project Manager and will be tasked with facilitating training of the data collection tool MJALi for the Social Economic Survey running in 9 Counties across Kenya. The candidate will also support other projects on a needs basis.


    • Assist in the overall implementation of the project and overseeing field activities.
    • Assist with coordinating the implementation of the project with other stakeholders.
    • Support in compiling periodic reports on the status of the project on a needs basis.
    • Coordinate with project team on various tasks as per work plan.
    • Assist program staff during survey planning and implementation especially preparing logistics needed, participating in data collection and cleaning.


    Education and knowledge

    • A bachelor`s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics or a related discipline.


    • At least 2 years relevant experience;
    • Experience in mobile health platforms an added advantage

    Skills and Competencies

    • Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams and facilitate communication.
    • Highly organized in both time and in resources; need to manage progress reports and work plan.
    • Analytical skills and critical thinking
    • Ability to multitask; work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to allow for collaboration with other team players.

    • Demonstrate high levels of integrity with strong communications skills
