    Nurse

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assessing, planning implementing nursing interventions, monitoring and evaluating patient's outcomes;
    • Providing appropriate healthcare service including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery,
    • Providing health education and counselling to patients/clients
    • Escalate patients and clients appropriately;
    • Facilitating patients' admission and initiating discharge plans;
    • Ensuring patients/clients safety and adhere to infection prevention protocols and safe clinical environment;
    • Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
    • Administering prescribed medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.

    QUALIFICATION

    • Diploma in Nursing from a reputable institution.
    • BLS and ACLS is an added advantage.
    • Experience in clinical audit is an added advantage.
    • Must be registered with the nursing council and possess a current license.
    • Minimum working experience of THREE (3) years in a busy health institution.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff. Basic computer skills.
    • Professional, friendly attitude.

    Care Clinical Officer

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in the emergency department and critical care units.
    • Monitoring and managing patients' conditions and administering medications. 
    • Immediate stabilization of incoming critical patients
    • Keeping accurate medical records, documenting critical patient care activities, and adhering to ethical and legal standards in healthcare practice;
    • Monitoring patients' progress during and after treatment, adjusting therapies as needed, and addressing any side effects or complications that arise
    • Support medical officers and medical specialists in attending to critical patients in accident and emergency of the hospital.
    • Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must have a Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery from a recognized institution.
    • Must have a Higher Diploma in Emergency and Critical Care from a recognized institution.
    • Must be registered by the relevant regulatory bodies.
    • At least one (1) year work experience as a Emergency and Critical Care Clinical Officer
    • Registered with the Clinical Officer's Council-Kenya
    • Valid practice license
    • Proficiency in computer applications.

    Critical Care Nurse

    • Assist physicians with procedures such as bronchoscopy, endoscopy, endotracheal intubation, and elective cardioversion.
    • Ensuring that ventilators, monitors, and other types of medical equipment function properly.
    • Ensure that equipment or devices are properly stored after use.
    • Prioritize nursing care for assigned critically ill patients based on assessment data and identified needs.
    • ICU nurses must be able to draw ABG Blood and interpret the report correctly.
    • ICU nurses should have enough knowledge about GCS (Glasgow Coma Scale) and also the evaluation capacity of patient condition.

    QUALIFICATION

    • Must have a Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
    • Must have a higher diploma in Critical Care nursing from a recognized institution.
    • Must be registered with the nursing council and possess a current license.
    • Training in BLS and ACLS is an added advantage.
    • Minimum working experience of two years in a busy ICU.
    • Must have good communication skills both written and oral.
    • The candidate must be self-driven and self-motivated.
    • Management skills will be an added advantage
