    Health Systems Associate; (CHQI) Project

    Job Purpose:

    • Participate in the design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of public health programmes

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Program design, development, planning and evaluation;
    • Literature survey and synthesis;
    • Study protocol development, planning and implementation;
    • Data collection, analysis, and report writing;
    • Creates and disseminates materials to communicate information to the public;
    • Health technology assessment and implementation;
    • Supervise study/evaluation assistants.

    Job Specification:

    • MBChB with at least one year post-internship, or;
    • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with at least 5 years of relevant public health evaluation experience.
    • Diploma in clinical health professional qualifications with at least 7 years of delivering public health intervention

    Research Associates; (CHQI) Studies

    Job Purpose:

    • To recruit study participants and collect qualitative and quantitative data.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Operationalize study SOPs on site activation, data extraction, participant recruitment, and data collection
    • Ensure compliance to study protocol and institutional guidelines
    • Implement study activities including community engagement, information giving on obtaining informed consent and sample collection
    • Maintaining accurate records of research procedures, results, and observations
    • Provide study team with regular feedback on study activities
    • Participate in regular team calls and meetings
    • Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned

    Job Specification:

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with clinical research experience; or
    • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Health Sciences with clinical research experience; or
    • Master’s degree in medical humanities in any of the following fields sociology, anthropology, health economics); or
    • Diploma in Health Professions with at least three (3) years’ experience in infectious diseases (HIV, TB) or NCD prevention and care.
