    Oral Health Officer

    Qualification

    Education, Skills and Experience

       Must have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Oral Health or Dental Surgery from a recognized academic institution.
    • At least 3 years’ relevant clinical experience in a recognized hospital or training institution.
    • Must be registered by Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC)
    • Computer literacy.

    Reporting to: Principal Laboratory Technologist

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Provide preventive, promotive, and curative oral health services.
    • Conduct oral health education and awareness to students, staff, and patients.
    • Carry out diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of common oral conditions.
    • Assist in dental outreach programs and community oral health initiatives.
    • Ensure proper maintenance, sterilization, and safe handling of dental instruments and equipment.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
    • Supervise and guide students during clinical sessions in oral health procedures.
    • To appropriately execute any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

    Part-time Tutors - Maritime Transport and Logistics Management

    To qualify for appointment a candidate must have the following:

    • An earned Bachelor’s degree qualification in the relevant area from a recognized/accredited university
    • At least three (3) years teaching experience in a similar Institution.
    • Be registered as a Trainer by Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority
    • Relevant Work experience in Industry will be an added advantage
    • Be registered by the relevant Professional Body (where applicable).
    • Have completed pedagogy training.

    To qualify for appointment to teach short courses, a candidate must have the following requirements:

    An earned B2 Proficiency Level certificate or degree in the relevant language:

    • German: Goethe-Zertifikat
    • Italian: CELI (Certificato di Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana)
    • French: DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française)
    • English: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics
    • Kiswahili: Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics
    • Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience in a similar institution, preferably teaching up to B2 level.
    • Experience with CEFR-aligned curricula and communicative teaching methodologies.
