Brief Description        

The candidate will Carry out all assigned paint tasks on aircraft structure and components for all KQ fleet & third-party operators and perform certification within company regulations at an optimized cost for the business whilst upholding high maintenance schedule integrity.

Detailed Description        
Principal Accountabilities(Responsibility)

• Carry out aircraft structure and component painting for optimal TAT to ensure continuous availability of serviceable aircraft that meets required standards under supervision.
• Carry out aircraft placards fabrication and replacements.
• Operate & maintain MRO section motorized equipment as per company procedures.
• Adhere to the company safety, health & environment policy to maintain company safety records, report incidents/accident occurrences as per company procedures to maintain our safety standards, carry out 5s audits, first aid & fire marshaling drills.
• Carry out security checks as per engineering security document annex8 to maintain our security standards.
• Undertaking such other duties as may be reasonably requested by Paint Workshop supervisor.

Job Requirements        
Qualification(Minimum)  

• ‘O’ level certificate/ KCSE C plain.
• Grade III trade test.
• Certificates in Paint vendor Trainings.
• An Engineering Diploma will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years Paint experience in a reputable organization.
• Has attended Health and Safety training and has put into practice in day-to-day work.

Brief Description        

The candidate will design, configure, implement, support, and maintain enterprise databases, and implement and monitor database controls to ensure information integrity.

Detailed Description        
Principal Accountabilities (KeyPerformance Area)

• Installing database management systems using best practice.
• Ensure compliance with license agreements and maintain upgrades and critical patches.
• Remediate audit findings.
• Control access permissions and privileges on databases.
• Monitoring and managing the high availability components and the underlying infrastructure for mission-critical databases.
• Performs database optimization and performance monitoring.
• Define and ensure integrity of the backups and restore processes in accordance with the disaster recovery policy.
• Carry out capacity planning for the enterprise databases.
• Manage the external (S/W & H/W) suppliers to ensure they meet their SLA ‘s.
• Ensure standardization and documentation of databases, standard operating procedures, support techniques, and adherence to defined IT service management processes to ensure availability and reliability.
• Implement, document, and maintain database security configurations to ensure database security and integrity.
• Recommend & Implement value adding improvement, monitoring, and automation tools to improve productivity and lower costs.
• Provide technical expertise and direct support for the planning, coordination, and implementation of software projects to get the projects delivered in time and within budget.
• Manage database incidents and requests with the agreed service levels.

Job Requirements        
Qualification (Minimum)  

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.
• Good Database administration knowledge and skills.
• Good Unix/Linux administration knowledge and skills and/or Microsoft Certified System Engineer.
• Certification in database administration.
• Networking skills.
• Basic hardware knowledge.
• Four (4) years of experience in database administration.
