    Dental Officer

    Job Purpose
    Dental Officers are responsible to a Dental Specialist in providing diagnostic, curative, preventive and rehabilitative dental services.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Provide leadership to service delivery, coordinate work schedules and prepare
    2. medical reports.
    3. Ensure smooth running of the delivery services by ensuring the ensuring the 
    4. equipment is in good working condition.
    5. Prepare medical legal reports for all patients as may be required by police, legal

    Job Purpose

    Principal Occupational Therapist

    Job Purpose
    An officer at this level will be responsible to the Head of Department, Rehabilitative Services in the provision of occupational therapy services in the Hospital 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Assist the Chief Principal Rehabilitative Services in the overall administration of the Department;
    2. Participate in formulation of hospital and national health policies.
    3. Ensure compliance to the provision of various Occupational Therapists
    4. legislations and regulations that provides for guidance, standards and regulation of occupational therapy practice;
    5. Formulate, interpret and review policies relating to pational therapy services in 
    6. conformity with the world occupational therapy standards;

    Senior Assistant Occupational Therapist III

    Job Purpose
    An officer at this level will be responsible to an Occupational Therapist in the provision of all occupational therapy services in the Hospital.

    Job Purpose

    1. Perform a range of radiographic and sonographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images;

    Job Purpose

    The Medical Specialists (Plastic Surgery) are responsible to Head of Department in the provision of specialized diagnostic, curative, rehabilitative and preventive health care services to the population under their care; they are entrusted to provide quality health care services.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Implement clinical decisions for specialised quality inpatient and outpatient care that

    8. Implementing clinical review protocols procedures and work instructions for the practice of specialized care
    9. Coordinating and managing referral care within the framework of the hospital and

    Qualifications and Experience

    1. Masters of Medicine degree in Anaesthesia or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
    2. Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB.) or its equivalent qualification from 
    3. an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
    4. Specialist recognition certificate in Anaesthesia from the Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Council.
