Duties and Responsibilities

20. Teaching interns doctors and students from various institutions.
21. Providing leadership in the departmental procedures to supporting staff, nursing and technical staff
22. Ensuring proper data entry in the diary work registers.
23. Carrying out research in collaboration with the researchers on various forms of 
24. treatment and new emerging techniques of management of patients

Qualifications and Experience

1. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (DS) degree or equivalent qualification from an institution 
2. recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.

18. Providing high standards of specialized clinical services to patients in the wards and specialized clinics
19. Performing regular rounds with the registrars and other officers to assist in patient management.
20. Communicating to all patients under their care about the nature of their illness and the 
21. outlook in treatment of their well-being so that they understand the full extent of their

23. Carryout specialized diagnostic, therapeutic medical or surgical procedures
24. Accepting responsibility for the teaching of the highest standards of medical practice to

26. Executing Medico-legal duties including filling of P3 forms, court attendance and forensic duties
27. Participating in community diagnosis, preventive & promotive care and treatment;
28. Utilizing patient data to benefit the customer and service provider;

Qualifications and Experience

1. Masters of Medicine degree in Internal Medicine or equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB.) or its equivalent qualification from 
3. an institution recognized by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
4. Certification/ Fellowship in Nephrology from a recognized institution.
5. Specialist recognition certificate in Nephrology from the Medical Practitioners’ and Dentist Council.
6. Registration Certificate by the Medical Practitioners & Dentist Council.
7. Valid practicing license in Nephrology from Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
