    Product Operations Manager

    The successful candidates will work within the Product Operations function, partner with Product, Engineering, & IT, and work in collaboration with key business stakeholders. You will work with business leaders to ensure that all domains [core, clients, cloudworkers] are given proper thought in the exploration and experimentation of new ideas. You will lead new thinking and nurture new ideas from concept, through experimental phases and assist with ensuring that the Product Managers understand the core needs of the business.

    You will be accountable for the design and support of the execution of Product Experiments. You will identify the collaboration and facilitation methods required to execute the experiments.

    Performance Objectives:

    • Define and deliver the go-forward experiments framework, success criteria, and reporting methodology. Within four weeks you will have published and been trialing the first iteration of our standard experiment framework with an actual experiment.
    • Assess and develop a calendar of experimentation within the Product organization. During the first six weeks, work with members of Product and Enterprise IT to understand and report experiment needs within the team. This calendar will be used to manage the team’s bandwidth, report on areas of concern (if any) and communicate back to the Product organization.
    • Embed within the Product Management teams to ensure experiment requirements and needs are captured. During the first four weeks, work with members of Product and Engineering to understand how the development process works, connect with the key stakeholders, and begin to take over the responsibility of running with the POCs and experiments project plans.

    Requirements

    • Degree level in Computer Science or related field
    • Prior experience in an Service Delivery is a plus
    • Experience with a platform business model is a huge plus
    • Formal training in project management practices preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to think outside the box to make the complex simple
    • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
    • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
    • Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must

    Senior Video Editor

    As a Senior Video Editor within the L&D team, you will be working inside our “in-house agency” built up of video, graphics, learning content developers to deliver creative assets that engage our target audience and develop an emotional connection with them. You will be working closely with a team of creators to develop innovative learning solutions/ campaigns that will be used across our business.

    You will take ownership and accountability for editing videos and animations which can be used on various platforms across the business. You will edit content, working to the CFA Brand vision and style, making video concepts come to life. You should always be thinking about the story and shareability and most importantly, how the video content will gain impactful results and contribute to the overall strategy.

    You will be working on various types of deliverables, be comfortable working under pressure working to short deadlines, particularly across multiple countries. So you must be able to remain calm and professional in pressured situations while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.

    You are a confident self-starter with a high level of attention to detail and the passion to exercise some creative flare. You have a creative eye when it comes to capturing content and ability to interpret briefs, continually providing expert opinion to improve the quality of multimedia content being produced by CFA. You’ll have an outstanding showreel demonstrating a variety of editing styles, as well as an in depth understanding of various software packages and their respective workflows.

    Requirements

    Key Responsibilities

    • Establish a strong working relationship with the Creative Team as well as the wider L&D team to deliver the best-in-class output.
    • Enthusiastically work alongside the L&D team, reflecting and respecting the agile business model.
    • Use your experience, and specialist knowledge of video production to actively contribute to team creative brainstorms.
    • Assess and resolve technical and creative issues methodically.
    • Regular reporting to the Creative Delivery Manager to update on workflow pipelines to ensure videos are delivered on time, on brief, and to the highest creative output.
    • Manage and organise the production of multi-media assets (videos and animated formats). Ensuring all project workflows are followed – all projects properly set-up and archived.
    • Line manage the work of the Junior Video Editor and provide coaching and feedback, checking quality of the footage, subtitles accuracy, editing techniques, sound and colour grading.
    • Be able to work quickly and effectively, with filmed media from multiple cameras and various formats (ProRes, R3D, AVCHD, MP4, XAVC).
    • Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into a suitable, high quality finished product suitable for publication across multiple channels (website, mobile, social media) – across a wide range of formats including video, gifs, cinemagraphs, stop motion, fast-forward video. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, animations, and visual effects.
    • Create full edits and cut-downs. Utilising the same footage for different social platforms, knowing what style of edit will suit each social platform.
    • Creating, Curating and Editing graphics and title animation and associated assets.
    • Applying a variety of animation skills – 2D, 3D and mixed media to specific multimedia output.
    • Prepare motion and still graphic content, utilizing templates in After Effects and Photoshop.
    • Break up content from live shows for distribution into short social pieces under the direction of the Delivery team.
    • Responsible for being at the forefront of online video trends, technologies and techniques; sourcing and presenting new content to inspire the team.
    • Assist in the maintenance and updating of an active content.
    • Potentially collaborate with external designers and content creators when needed.
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

    Candidate Requirements

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Video, Film, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
    • 4+ years professional video editing experience in a production environment.
    • Passionate about visual story-telling with an eye to match. Design sensibility and flair for on-screen graphics and typography.
    • Strong interpersonal and communications skills – able to communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with others to achieve goals.
    • Exceptional time management and project management skills. Able to prioritise and adapt, multi-task effectively, juggle numerous projects and switch planning where required due to the reactive nature of the business.
    • Great attention to detail. You’ll be working autonomously sharing content, therefore accuracy every time is essential.
    • Able to work without guidance, anticipate and suggest creative solutions to common editing problems without impacting the work.
    • Action oriented and willingness to learn within a team. Team player.
    • A deep understanding of how people consume, share, and engage with digital content as well as having a strong sense of narrative/storytelling.
    • Experience taking video productions from script through distribution
    • Able to make sound editing decisions and apply good judgment to create a coherent and effective end product
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
    • Proficient in Colour grading, final quality control and exporting files in proper format.
    • 3D Animation and Motion Graphics skills using Maxon Cinema 4D or alternative softwares.
