Production Operation Supervisor at KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited

Job Purpose

• To support the smooth and efficient execution of production operations by coordinating production scheduling, maintaining production work orders and systems, monitoring local material availability, resolving operational abnormalities, and supporting day-to-day production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate production schedules, including product and color/design scheduling, based on production requirements and available capacity.
• Maintain, update and monitor production work orders in the relevant ERP/production management system.
• Identify, follow up and resolve system-related abnormalities and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Track the availability and delivery status of locally sourced production materials.
• Follow up on delayed, insufficient or abnormal material deliveries and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.
• Monitor daily production activities and follow up on progress against the approved production plan.
• Prepare and maintain accurate daily, weekly and monthly production and operational reports.
• Ensure production-related data and records are accurate, complete and updated on time.
• Support the implementation and improvement of production procedures and operational processes.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Logistics, Operations Management, Production Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
