KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors and vehicles in line with approved procedures.
• Verify IDs, visitor authorizations, gate passes, delivery documents and vehicle movement records.
• Conduct lawful and respectful searches of persons, bags, vehicles and consignments in line with company policy. Issue and reconcile visitor badges, keys, radios and other controlled security items.
• Conduct scheduled and random patrols of the perimeter, production, warehouse, dispatch, offices and vulnerable points.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms and other assigned security systems and report irregularities immediately.
• Detect and report theft, suspicious activity, tampering,
• unsafe acts and food-defence or biosecurity breaches.
• Maintain accurate occurrence books, patrol logs, key registers, visitor registers, vehicle registers and incident reports.
• Verify inbound and outbound goods, seals, dispatch notes and gate passes, and escalate any discrepancies.
• Respond to alarms, fire, medical or security incidents, and support emergency procedures and evacuations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• KCSE certificate or equivalent.

• Valid driving licence is an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather and document business requirements, process flows and functional specifications.
• Validate requirements and translate approved needs into clear work items and acceptance criteria.
• Perform limited functional data analysis, mapping, validation and documentation.
• Support ERP and business system implementations, configuration, UAT and go-live activities.
• Coordinate testing, defect tracking, release support and user documentation.
• Monitor system health, support improvements and assist with business continuity testing.
• Manage helpdesk support and provide first- and second-line application support.
• Support software installation, upgrades, version control and licence records.
• Drive rollout and adoption of ERP and Microsoft 365 tools through user support and training.
• Support security controls, user access management and audit follow-up.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Exposure to ERP environments, user acceptance testing and helpdesk operations is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools; basic SQL for querying and reporting is desirable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan shift deployment based on risk, production schedules, dispatch volumes, visitor activity and vulnerable posts.
• Conduct briefings, handovers and debriefs; allocate posts, equipment and special instructions.
• Supervise company officers and contracted guards, inspect posts and address service gaps promptly.
• Enforce access, search, visitor, key, seal, vehicle and property-removal procedures.
• Verify high-risk inward and outward movements and escalate anomalies in documents, quantities, seals or routes.
• Take initial command of security incidents, secure scenes, activate response plans and support investigations.
• Ensure compliance with private-security, occupational safety, food-defence and company requirements.
• Prepare shift summaries, dashboards and reports; analyse trends and recommend corrective actions.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Working understanding of inventory and dispatch controls, food defence, occupational safety and contractor management.

• Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, Investigations, Business Administration or a related field; a relevant bachelor's degree is an advantage.
• Valid registration, training and compliance required under applicable private-security law and regulation.
• At least 5 years' progressive security experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. FMCG, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, agriculture or distribution experience strongly preferred. First aid, fire marshal, investigations, defensive driving or occupational safety certification is an advantage. Reports To: Assistant Security Manager.
