    Demand Planner

    Job Summary

    The main purpose of the job within the supply chain is to use forecasting tools and business stock trends to understand the demand for Healthy U 2000 Ltd products. The job holder will need to plan to strike the balance between having sufficient stock levels to meet demand without having surplus. This role works within the larger team and shares the responsibility for success and profitability by providing services to our internal customers which may include retail, warehouse, logistics and procurement

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee demand planning and management processes for new and existing products.
    • Analyse sales, stock levels, and other data to identify demand patterns and trends.
    • Collect data from internal and external sources that influence demand, such as promotions, vendor updates, and production delays.
    • Work closely with sales, customers, logistics, procurement, and Business Intelligence teams to improve  forecast accuracy.
    • Identify opportunities to meet customer demand during constrained supply periods.
    • Maintain optimal inventory levels based on projected customer demand.
    • Address demand-related inquiries promptly and accurately.
    • Maintain and continuously enhance demand planning systems, tools, and processes to improve forecasting accuracy.
    • Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with all company policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
    • Follow up, validate, and cross-check offer and discount activations across all branches.
    • Verify and cross-check the Negative Gross Profit (GP) report and escalate discrepancies.
    • Compile and verify the declared short-expiry report for each branch.
    • Maintain the promotional offer master list and share updates with relevant stakeholders.
    • Compile, allocate, and seek approval for promotional offer pricing.
    • Monitor packed stock in warehouses and bulk bins across branches; follow up on ageing, excess,
    • damaged, and six-month-to-expiry stock.
    • Execute weekly branch replenishment as per the agreed rotation schedule.
    • Prepare for new shipments by coordinating timely rotation and recall of stocks according to set timelines.
    • Conduct warehouse stock rebalancing to ensure stock adequacy in branches and maintain minimum– maximum stock levels.
    • Ensure timely servicing of all customer stock-related requests.
    • Maintain consistent weekly product rotation across all branches.
    • Provide insights and market feedback to the procurement department to support sourcing decisions.
    • Follow up closely on new product development and monitor product performance.
    • Monitor the billing of assigned products for Key Accounts and provide timely reports.

    Reports:

    • Top 80% Sellers Stock Inventory Status.
    • Excess Inventory Report.
    • Projection Vs. Production Achievement Report.
    • Projection Vs Production Vs Sales Achievement Report
    • Sales Trend Report
    • Market Returns Report
    • Short Expiry Reports-(6 Months to Expiry,1-3 Months Expiries, New Shipment Short Expiry).
    • Promotional Offers Update & Performance Reports.

    Key Performance Indicators.

    Achieve 85% service levels

    • Short Expiry Value Kshs.200,000 per month.
    • 100% of budgeted sales targets

    Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

    • Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or a similar role
    • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
    • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
    • Excellent database (SAP) and Excel skills
    • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to translate numbers and data into reliable insights
    • Understanding of seasonality and peak demand times
    • Analysis and problem-solving skills such as the ability to question, accurately identify a need, and present an effective solution
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, time management skills
    • Attention to detail

    Head of AI

    Job Summary

    • The Head of AI will lead Healthy U’s AI transformation agenda by identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and embedding AI capabilities across:
      • Retail Operations
      • Warehousing & Distribution Centres
      • HORECA
      • Wholesale Operations
      • Supply Chain & Logistics
    • All Business Enablement Functions including HR, Finance, IT, Procurement, Legal, Administration, Commercial,
    • Marketing, Customer Experience, and other support functions.
    • The role requires a leader who can bridge business strategy, operations, technology, and innovation to create measurable
    • value across the organization.

    Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
    • Master’s Degree in AI, Analytics, Technology, or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 8–12 years’ experience in AI, analytics, automation, digital transformation, or technology leadership roles.
    • Proven experience implementing AI and automation solutions within retail, FMCG, logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or enterprise environments.
    • Strong understanding of business operations and Business Enablement Functions.
    • Demonstrated success partnering with business leaders to implement transformation initiatives.
    • Experience leading cross-functional and enterprise-wide projects.
