    Nursing Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conduct physical exams to assess patient health needs and problems
    • Implement physicians’ orders, perform treatments, start IVs, administer medications, and interpret special tests.
    • Administer direct care to injured, disabled, ill, or convalescent patients
    • Review and maintain medical records
    • Implement and develop nursing care plans
    • Counsel patients and family members on disease prevention and health maintenance
    • Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients’ conditions and needs
    • Supervise the work of licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, and assistants
    • Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatment plans
    • Maintain a safe, hygienic working environment
    • Prepare rooms and medical equipment and decontaminate instruments
    • Provide emotional and psychological support

    Qualification:-

    • Hold at least a Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing
    • At least 1 year experience
    • Be registered with Nursing Council of Kenya with a valid current nursing practicing license (KRCHN- Dully registered)

    Counsellor

    JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION

    • Evaluating trainees’ abilities and interests through aptitude assessments, interviews, and individual planning.
    • Identifying issues that affect college performance, such as poor classroom attendance rates.
    • Helping trainees understand and overcome social or behavioural problems through classroom guidance lessons and counselling.
    • Counselling individuals and small groups on the basis of trainee and college needs.
    • Working with trainees to develop skills, such as organizational and time management abilities and effective study habits.
    • Helping trainees create a plan to achieve academic and career goals.
    • Collaborating with the staff, administrators, and parents to help trainees succeed.
    • Teaching trainees and college staff about specific topics, such as bullying, drug abuse, and planning for college or careers after graduation
    • Maintaining records as required.
    • Reporting possible cases of neglect or abuse and referring students and parents to resources outside the school for additional support

    GUIDANCE COUNSELLOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to advise and assist students with academic and vocational development.
    • Evaluate students’ attributes and assist them in realizing their objectives.
    • Develop and implement counselling strategies with contemporary methods of mentoring.
    • Identify behavioural problems and act appropriately to remedy the situation.
    • Pay attention to societal and cultural differences in all student matters.
    • Assess the development of students and highlight the sense of accomplishment.
    • Complete evaluations, analyse results and provide purposeful feedback.
    • Cooperate with parents, academic staff and external partners.
    • Arrange and schedule orientation programs and internships.
    • Advertise facilities and study programs to potential students.
    • Implement and facilitate educational and training workshops for academic staff.

    JOB QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor’s degree in counselling or related (essential).
    • 2 years of work experience as a counsellor in an academic environment.
    • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
    • A motivational leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills.
    • Confident interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Perceptive intuition and decision-making skills.
    • Remarkable professionalism and solid work ethic.
    • Intermediate IT skills.

    Nursing Director

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervising all nursing staff
    • Overseeing department budgets
    • Reporting to higher management in the healthcare facilities
    • Maintaining high standards of care for all patients
    • Managing patients’ data and medical records as confidential records
    • Communicating with doctors, patients and family members about patient health
    • Recruiting, training and onboarding new nursing staff
    • Providing ongoing education classes
    • Implementing new procedures and training Nurses on policies

    Qualification:-

    • BSN or HND in any nursing specialist.
    • Minimum 2 year experience in management in a busy hospital.
