    Business Development Officer - Alternative Channels

    Role Purpose

    • The primary purpose of this role is to drive the development, growth, and management of alternative distribution channels to ensure the achievement of business objectives. The incumbent will focus on identifying, creating, and expanding business opportunities outside traditional channels, with a key emphasis on digital platforms, and innovative sales avenues to increase customer acquisition and enhance revenue streams.

    Operational

    • Operationalize the alternative channels leads funnel through CRM working closely with cross functional teams.
    • Operationalize end to end leads management process via CRM.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify new business opportunities through alternative channels.
    • Establish and manage relationships with external partners such as digital platforms, and retail distribution networks.
    • Monitor the performance of all alternative channels and recommend adjustments to improve sales outcomes.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging alternative distribution channels.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create innovative campaigns aimed at driving sales through nontraditional platforms.
    • Develop and maintain business cases for new initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall corporate objectives.
    • Manage relationships with the onboarding of clients and fund services team.
    • Analyze customer feedback and data from alternative channels to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

    Corporate Governance

    • Ensure all business development activities comply with internal governance frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
    • Uphold high ethical standards in partnerships and negotiations, ensuring transparency and integrity in all dealings.
    • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of company data and that of its partners.
    • Implement risk management practices in all alternative channel partnerships to mitigate potential business risks.
    • Ensure proper documentation and contract management for all partnerships, ensuring that the company’s interests are safeguarded.
    • Lead periodic audits and reviews of alternative channel activities to ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.

    • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the team, encouraging out-of-the-box thinking in the identification of new channels.
    • Promote a customer-centric approach by ensuring that all alternative channel activities prioritize the customer experience.

    Key Competencies

    • Strong understanding of CRM for Customer Service and Sales functions such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Fresh Sales.

    • Deep understanding of digital platforms.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Certification in digital marketing or alternative channels development is desirable

    Relevant Experience

    • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to asset management.
    • Experience with CRM for leads and sales funnel management such as Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Fresh Sales.
    • Proven track record of success in developing and managing alternative sales channels.
    • Experience in digital platforms, alternative channels, or distribution networks is highly preferred.

    Data Governance Analyst

    Operational

    • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, legal, and business units, to define data governance roles, responsibilities, and accountability structures.
    • Conduct data profiling and analysis to assess data quality, completeness, and consistency, identifying issues and recommending remediation plans.
    • Document and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation to facilitate data understanding and transparency.
    • Support the implementation of data classification and sensitivity assessments to identify and mitigate risks associated with data privacy and security.
    • Monitor and track data governance activities, including data quality assessments, remediation efforts, and compliance audits, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
    • Assist in the development of training materials and awareness campaigns to promote understanding and adoption of data governance policies and procedures.
    • Participate in the evaluation and selection of data governance tools and technologies to support data management and compliance requirements.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging best practices in data governance to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and metrics on data governance performance, compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management/Systems, or a related field.
    • Certification in Data governance, CISA, CDMP and any other related certification will be an added advantage.

    Relevant Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

    Digital Solution Architect

    The role holder will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality technology solutions that align with business needs and strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, and clients, to deliver robust and scalable systems successfully. He/She should have a deep understanding of software development, architecture principles, and industry best practices and will act as a technical leader to guide the end-to-end process from conception to deployment.
    Main Responsibilities
    Operational

    • Develop comprehensive solution architectures to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
    • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing systems using appropriate technologies and platforms.
    • Translate complex business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
    • Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and frameworks to meet project requirements.
    • Gain a full understanding of business needs, from vision and strategy to execution of operations, sufficient to act as business relationship manager and internal consultant.

    Key Competencies

    • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to C++, C#, and Java.
    • Strong experience with systems software programming, including OS, networking, and multi-threaded systems.
    • Knowledge of real-time communication protocols (RTP, WebRTC), streaming protocols (HLS, DASH), and big data
    • applications.
    • Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Experience with machine learning techniques and their application to solve business problems.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • A master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.

    Relevant Experience

    • 5+ years of progressive experience in software development and architecture, focusing on designing and implementing complex, scalable systems.
    • Proven experience in solution architecture for large-scale, enterprise-grade software projects.
    • Must be experienced in process Optimization.
