JOB PURPOSE:
The Gender Specialist will lead the integration of gender equity and social inclusion within pastoralist livestock development programs. The role will drive the program’s gender transformation agenda by ensuring that women, men, and youth have equitable access to resources, services, decision-making platforms and economic opportunities. Working closely with pastoralist communities, the Specialist will promote inclusive approaches that strengthen livelihoods while remaining sensitive to and respectful of cultural norms and local contexts.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The post holder will be required to have and demonstrate evidence of the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sociology, or a related field is required.
- Master’s Degree in Gender, Development Studies, Social Studies or relate discipline is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience integrating gender equality and social inclusion in rural, pastoral, agricultural, or market-based development programs is required.
- Strong facilitation, community engagement, and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Kenya, especially to pastoral counties.
- Knowledge of the agri-food sector, particularly livestock markets, is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili required, proficiency in a Kenyan local language spoken in pastoralist counties is highly desirable.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Communications, Events and Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator will lead the design and implementation of strategic communications, stakeholder relation and highimpact events to strengthen visibility, partnerships, and influence for the pastoralist program. The role ensures that pastoralist voices, evidence and program results are effectively communicated to communities, government, donors, the private sector and development partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The post holder will be required to have and demonstrate evidence of the followin qualifications, attributes, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, International Relations, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, public relations, events management or related field.
- Proven experience developing communication strategies and producing high-quality communication material, including briefs, reports, digital content, and event documentation.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging for government, donor, private sector, and community audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with strong attention to detail and accountability for deliverables.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Kenya, especially to pastoral counties.
- Knowledge of the agri-food sector, particularly livestock markets, is highly preferred.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Business Insights and Data Coordinator will support data-driven decisionmaking across the pastoralist program by managing data systems, generating actionable insights and strengthening market intelligence for livestock and pastoralist enterprises. The role focuses on translating complex data into practical insights that improve program performance, strengthen value chains, inform investment decisions and enhance outcomes for pastoralist communities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The post holder will be required to have and demonstrate evidence of the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, market research, data systems management, performance monitoring, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, i.e., Power BI and MS Office.
- Experience in designing, managing, and maintaining data collection and data management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with strong attention to detail and accountability for deliverables.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Kenya, especially to pastoral counties.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with MEAL and Impact systems and performance measurement frameworks.
- Knowledge of the agri-food sector, particularly livestock markets, is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili is required.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Investment Manager will focus on identifying and securing co-investment opportunities to drive growth and sustainability in Kenya’s livestock sector. This role requires a keen understanding of the agricultural industry, strong financial acumen and the ability to foster strategic partnerships.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The post holder will be required to have and demonstrate evidence of the following qualifications, attributes, and skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is required.
- Master’s Degree in Finance, MBA, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in investment management, private equity, development finance, corporate finance, agribusiness investment, or related field is required.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capability is required.
- Proven experience in structuring transactions or blended finance vehicles is required.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Kenya, especially to pastoral counties, and minimal international travel may be required.
- Experience in agriculture or livestock value chains is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English; Proficiency in Kiswahili is desired.
