    Procurement Manager

     

    Responsibilities:

    1. The Procurement Manager for Kenya, will be in charge of the overall procurement department.
    2. Study procurement chart from the project team and source materials from the market.
    3. Identify materials to be purchased from local and international market and carry out comparisons and purchase materials economically combining procurement for various projects but managing within the project timelines.
    4. Negotiate best possible prices, credit terms and logistics with the suppliers.
    5. Budgeting & Costing of Materials – Estimated costs to be signed off & compared with Actual costs.
    6. Co-ordinate with stores department to have updated stock level before placing order.

    Requirements:

    1. Holder of Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
    2. Must have working experience in Electrical Contracting Firm for a minimum of 8 years onwards
    3. Full knowledge of Electrical Products and their dealers/suppliers globally, importation documentation and negotiation of prices.
    4. Thorough knowledge to read & extract quantities from Electrical Drawings/Layout and Bills of Quantities, should be able to discuss the Electrical Products Details with the project team.
    5. Fluent in oral and written English
    6. Work experience outside his resident country for a long period especially Arab Continent/Africa and willing to work in Africa on long term period.
    7. PC skills, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, AutoCAD and project related software.
    8. Must be a Team Leader in your current department.

    Group Financial Controller

     

    Responsibilities

    1. The Group Financial Controller will be required to manage and supervise the financial portfolio for the entire group of companies.
    2. Regularly revise and improve the financial structure and system.
    3. In charge of corporate banking requirements for the companies.
    4. Regular scheduled updates on financial reports and budget to the Managing Directors.
    5. Overlook the following execution with the accountants – Banking, Accounting Software postings, statutory tax payments, payroll, sales and purchase analysis, creditors analysis, payment collection, timely follow-up with project team on valuations.
    6. A team leader Maintaining quality management and efficiency within the financial department to get maximum output.

    Requirements

    1. The ideal candidate will hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA), be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) or equivalent.
    2. Hold full knowledge and experience of financial requirements for contracting and related firms.
    3. Fluent in oral and written English.
    4. Work experience outside his resident country for a long period especially Arab Continent/Africa and willing to work in Africa on long term period.
    5. PC skills, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Autocad and project related software

    Operations Manager - Kenya

     

    Responsibilities:

    1. The Operations Manager would be responsible of managing and supervising the Project Directors as well as the team.
    2. Revise and improve the structure and system regularly.
    3. Become familiar with the entire project requirements and ensure projects are timeously managed
    4. Overlook timely submission of Valuations, Variations, final account, payment and formal letter/email correspondence
    5. Attend project meetings if required and ensure critical issues are addressed
    6. Maintain quality and efficiency throughout the project to get maximum output

    The ideal candidate will:

    1. Hold a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.
    2. Have full knowledge of Electrical Products and their dealers/suppliers globally, importation documentation and negotiation of prices with suppliers.
    3. Posses thorough knowledge to read & extract quantities from Electrical Drawings/Layout and Bills of Quantities, should be able to discuss the Electrical Products Details with the Electrical Consultants for the project.
    4. Be fluent in oral and written English
    5. Hold work experience outside his resident country for a long period especially Arab Continent/Africa and willing to work in Kenya and Africa on long term period.
    6. Have PC skills, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, AutoCAD and project related software
