    Distribution Manager

    Responsible for: Strategic management of the distribution operations within the organization.

    Responsibilities for the Distribution Manager Jobs in Kenya

    • Periodic eco-system analysis to feed business strategy design.
    • Establishing and implementing distribution strategies, plans and budgets.
    • Allocating and managing staff resources in co-ordination with the HR department.
    • Implementing and supporting processes and policies of the organization.
    • Represent the distribution function to all internal and external stakeholders.
    • Periodic monitoring and evaluation.

    Key Performance Measures

    • Budget variance analysis.
    • Business development targets.
    • Department efficiency (Processes and systems).

    Qualifications for the Distribution Manager Jobs in Kenya

    • Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Business Management.
    • Master’s degree in Business Administration is an added advantage.
    • A minimum of 5 – 8 years’ experience of which 2 were at mid-level or senior management levels in the distribution/logistics sector
    • Demonstration of strategic/operations management.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

    Distribution Supervisor

    Responsible for: To supervise and manage regional team activities and processes in order to ensure an efficient, cost effective and professional delivery of services.

    Responsibilities for the Distribution Supervisor Jobs in Kenya

    • County Depot – set up and management of depot including recruitment and onboarding of the distribution officer.
    • Stock Management – oversee stock level maintenance, storage and dispatch as per the company policy.
    • Agent network management – oversee the recruitment, onboarding and relationship management of agents as per contracts.
    • Logistics Management – identifying and management of logistics providers as per quality assurance requirements.
    • Reporting – daily reports to immediate supervisor including three days of monthly status workshop at the head office.
    • Training – periodic training of agents with support from distribution officer
    • Customer complaint management – on ground support for customer complaint about quality assurance.
    • Relationship Management & company representation – maintain stakeholder relationship within respective territory.

    • Product accessibility (sufficient distribution network)

    Qualifications for the Distribution Supervisor Jobs in Kenya

    • Degree in supply chain management and related fields
    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ relevant supervisory experience in the sector.
    • SAP experience preferred
    • Personal skills and attributes required
    • Communication and customer service skills.
    • Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi‐task and work under pressure

    Distribution Officer

    Responsible for: Overall management of the county depot operations

    Responsibilities for the Distribution Officer Jobs in Kenya

    • County Depot – manage daily operations as per Standard of Procedures (SOPs).
    • Stock Management – maintaining and reconciling of stocks as per Standard of Procedures (SOPs).
    • Agent network management – implement the recruitment, onboarding and relationship management of agents as per contracts.
    • Logistics Management – implementing daily stock dispatch to agents as per quality assurance requirements.
    • Reporting – provide daily reports as per the supervisor’s request.
    • Customer complaint management – resolve customer complaints as per supervisor’s instructions.

    Qualifications for the Distribution Officer Jobs in Kenya

    • Diploma in business administration, logistics and agriculture related Field
    • Experience in stores management will be added advantage.
    • Computer literate is a MUST.

    • Ability to multi‐task
    • Work under pressure
