    Clinical Officer

    Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Clinical Officer’s main purpose will be to ensure proper management of activities and staff to enable holistic care to both clients and staff at the branch. S/he will also deputize the Nurse Manager.

    Responsibilities for the Clinical Officer Job

    • Provide comprehensive and good quality clinical services to patients.
    • Diagnose and institute appropriate treatment for the clients to reduce morbidity, mortality and increase longevity of the patients’ life.
    • Perform minor surgical operations.
    • In collaboration with the team receive and attend to patients who require emergency services
    • Ensure the clinic treatment rooms are well equipped at all times.
    • Ensure excellent standards and quality of clinical and Home based Care services.
    • Ensure that patient data/ information are handled confidentially at all times.
    • Ensure effective clinical procedures, rules, regulations which are consistent with organization procedures.
    • Participate in the community out-reach programs home based care.
    • Prepare the weekly plans/schedules and reports.
    • Ensure proper and cost effective use of resources.
    • Ensure that the clinic environment is safe and complies with infection control standards.
    • Give treatment while ensuring that established treatment protocols and treatment process as well as dispensing of drugs are carried out efficiently.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all activities to preserve dignity of patients.
    • Ensure accurate and secure documentation of activities is kept
    • Maintain adequate supplies drugs at all times.
    • Maintain up-to-date patient records at the clinic.
    • Carry out any other duties and responsibilities which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

    Clinical Officer Job Qualifications

    • O-levels/A-Levels
    • Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health from Recognized institution.
    • Be a registered member of the Clinical Officers Council.
    • Possess a valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers’ Council.
    • Experience: At least 3 years relevant post internship experience in a similar position

    Systems Administrator

    The position holder will report to the Chief Finance Officer. The individual’s main role will be to manage and give technical support to all users in various software applications in the Health Group. These include the clinical software and the Group ERP system.

    Responsibilities for the IT Officer Job

    • Manage the Group software applications in order to achieve efficient usage of the applications and produce accurate and timely reports for the users.
    • Sort out software user problems as presented by users at the IT Help Desk.
    • Assist in performing daily, weekly and monthly backups and ensure that all backup media are accurately recorded and stored as required.
    • Perform programming (systems’ development) tasks/duties as assigned.
    • Develop training materials and facilitate users’ training in Basic Computer usage, Lifeline system or any other users’ trainings need in the ICT related field.
    • Cover weekends, public holidays and after office hours’ duties as scheduled.
    • Design and Develop new functionalities within group systems.
    • Plan and implement integration processes to other applications.
    • Assist in reengineering business processes.

    IT Officer Job Qualifications

    • O-levels/A-Levels
    • Diploma in computer studies (software development, system analysis and design, or a related field)
    • Certification in Navision Development will be an added advantage.
    • Deep understanding of Database server administration (MS-SQL 2008, MySQL, Oracle), authoring tools e.g. HTML/XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Perl, XML, MS SQL server and IIS, Apache MySQL).
    • Technical certification in systems development and database administration will be an added advantage.
    • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics – CRM or Web Development and Website Content Management Systems (CMS).
    • Experience working with NAV and SQL Server, solution design, documentation, training, integration to other applications.
    • 4 years in a busy software/systems’ development environment.

    Clinical Nurse Manager

    The position holder will report to the Clinical Services Manager . The position holder will be responsible for promoting and restoring patients’ health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff; providing physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.

    The clinical nurse will also be the Team Leader in the branch and serve as a representative to promote the best interests of both the staff and management to ensure that the patients are well attended to.

    Responsibilities for the Clinical Nurse Job

    • Identify patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
    • Maintain nursing guidelines by ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed.
    • Maintain clinical operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
    • Assure quality of care by developing and interpreting hospital and nursing division’s philosophies and standards of care.
    • Enforce adherence to requirements and regulations relating to health care.
    • Measure health outcomes against standards in the branch and making adjustments to meet the set standards.
    • Complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning staff rota and following up on work results.
    • Maintain staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining all the employees at the branch.Maintain safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Protect patients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and protocols; enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.
    • Ensure patient confidence and protect operations by monitoring confidential information processing.
    • Maintain documentation of patient care services by auditing patient and department records.
    • Ensures operation of medical and administrative equipment by verifying availability, ensuring they are serviced and repaired.
    • Maintain clinical supplies inventory by studying usage reports, identify trends; anticipating needed supplies, approve requisitions and cost allocations.

    Qualifications for the Clinical Nurse Job

    • KRCHN
    • BSc. In Nursing will be an added advantage Possess a valid practicing license
    • Recruitment from a recognized institution 5 year post training experience.
    • Managerial training & experience is desired.
