    Warehouse Supervisor - Renewable Energy

    Warehouse Supervisor Job Responsibilities

    • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
    • Monitor the retail shop operations in regards to order pick, pack, deliver & reverse logistics process and documentation trail to achieve.
    • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. Manage stock controls while optimizing warehouse operations
    • Ensure compliance to stock management procedures and regulatory requirements.
    • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
    • Shelf life management of goods in the warehouse and in the retail shops.
    • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts; inspecting stock and equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
    • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
    • Ensure compliance to OSHA/GMP contract requirements
    • Manage the performance monitoring process for; Direct staff in span of control, warehouse cost center fixed cost development, direct cost of sales – related to delivery of goods and Reverse logistics development.
    • Complies with shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
    • Developing and implementing stock distribution procedures and ensuring proper implementation.
    • Planning routes and load scheduling for retail shops deliveries.
    • Ensuring that all company vehicles are well maintained, regularly serviced and also making sure that they meet the required regulatory standards.
    • Monitoring transportation costs and facilitating payment of transporters for outsourced vehicles.
    • Negotiating on all logistics and distribution related contracts and acquiring the necessary documentation.
    • Preparing and presenting periodic logistics reports to the management.

    Qualifications for the Warehouse Supervisor Job

    • Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain.
    • Minimum 4 years experience within a warehouse and logistics role
    • MUST have a strong supply chain background at a large FMCG
    • Proficiency with the POS is a must.

    Store Keeper - Construction

    Responsibilities for the Store Keeper Job

    • Responsible for all stock activities including, receiving deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting transactions and maintaining records.
    • Controlling all the storage activities with an accurate monitoring (material in/out) system.
    • Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase order and packing lists.
    • Generate reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received on a daily basis.
    • Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
    • Maintains files appropriate to the activities of the unit, such as invoices, order number, receiving date, shipping date, etc.
    • In charge of the protection and security of the goods up until consumed.
    • Monitoring the quantities available on stock with a clear picture of the material delivered (to whom and when).
    • Coordinate with subcontractors in order to deliver them the material approved in each Request for Material (which have been approved by the CEO/ Purchasing manager) and prepare the check out voucher following the request.

    • A Diploma in Store keeping or procurement
    • More than 2 years of relevant experience as a store keeper.
    • Must have experience in the construction industry

    Finishing Foreman - Construction

    Finishing Foreman Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure that the correct steps necessary to obtain the specified & required finish for the job are followed
    • Work closely with site supervisor to perform each job task safely, efficiently, on time, and under budget.
    • Train and guide each direct report in the proper aspects of finishing in order to consistently produce safe and quality finishing works.
    • Make suggestions and recommendations for repair.
    • Trouble-shoot and identify construction problems; offer timely and safe solutions.
    • Ensure the organization and availability of all tools and materials needed for the current days work as well as planning for tomorrow. Load and unload trucks as required.
    • Inspect all tools and equipment to ensure safe operation; must have knowledge of how to properly and safely use different equipment, such as power saws, vibrators, power trowels, etc. e.
    • Direct and perform the installation or dismantling of concrete forms as needed.
    • Supervision of finishing works like tiling, painting, plastering etc. Ensuring each finish is of high quality standards
    • Ensure that the correct steps necessary to obtain the specified & required finish for the job are followed
    • Ensure that all control joints are laid out and properly installed per the plan, both hand tooled and sawn joints.
    • Understand different sealers, hardeners, and floor curing methods and the proper way to install each method.
    • Coordinate with the site supervisor closely and instruct each crew member in their responsibilities for the day
    • Perform, or assist with, the documentation of any employee issues and problems, including employee evaluations, disciplinary actions, good behaviour documentation, etc.
    • Work closely with project manager to learn budgets & man-hours for each assigned job; manage crews and resources accurately and fairly as needed to improve or maintain the budgeted costs
    • Ensuring workmanship quality and speed remain paramount to the success of all our projects
    • Ensure finishes proceed in a timely manner.
    • Liaise with the Site Supervisor to manage tool and materials inventory for each project. Ensure unused materials are accounted for and reported to the Site Supervisor
    • Complete necessary reports and meet at least weekly with the site supervisor to discuss construction progress.

    Qualifications for the Finishing Foreman Job

    • Bsc Civil / Structural Engineering
    • Minimum 10yrs experience in a site finishing with proven record
    • A thorough technical understanding of building construction methods
    • MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel and Power-point) with excellent command of oral and written English and Kiswahili
    • Possess business etiquette with a strong work ethic, high level of honesty/integrity, results oriented, ability to deliver under pressure
    • Have a high attention to detail
