    Marketing Officer

    Duma Works is recruiting a Marketing Officer for Watervale Investments- Moko Furniture.

    The Napstar in action

    Moko’s goal is to change the way people experience their everyday home. We have recently launch our line of mattresses and are soon launching our first sofa collection. We’re looking for a young individual who will introduce our customers to the Moko’s Dream world while supporting the market research

    The ideal Napstar Officer is an analytical person who has a passion for engaging customers and tell the Moko story. They are self-motivated and keen to learn on the job. They enjoy taking on a variety of tasks from running marketing activation in a sleeping station to running market research surveys and they strive to achieve the best possible outcome.

    Responsibilities

    Run Marketing Activities

    • Plan and execute marketing activation activities in malls and other locations for Moko’s mattresses ensuring that KPIs set are met
    • Train and manage Moko Brand Ambassadors to animate the marketing activation in line with the brand spirit
    • Keep an up to date record of leads and customers generated by each marketing activation and ensure that Brand Ambassadors complete all their reports on time
    • Propose new ideas about ways to engage our customer with our brand and suggest improvements about marketing activation activities
    • Support digital marketing team to generate and gather content for marketing and social media campaigns

    Offer Customer Care for our Customers

    • Follow up on leads to coordinate when orders can be placed and mattresses delivered
    • Coordinate with the “Dreamliner” delivery team to arrange home deliveries to customers
    • Ensure that payments are collected and logged in our system
    • Assist customers in case of queries such as replacement of the product or assistance with product guarantee

    Support Market Research

    • Conduct market research and customers’ insights collections (both online and offline) through surveys or 1:1 interviews
    • Arrange for focus group discussions and 1:1 interviews as requested by the Brand Operation Manager and Head of Branding
    • Summarize data collected from market research and offer recommendations
    • Collect testimonials from customers and provide any insightful feedback to management to develop our products and our brand

    Qualifications

    • A preference for 1-2 years’ experience in a role with sales or customer relations responsibilities
    • Previous marketing experience is a plus, but not a requirement
    • Extremely strong interpersonal skills and success developing productive professional relationships
    • An enthusiastic individual with outstanding problem solving skills to assist customers in their purchase and after sales journey
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail—ability to analyze data and proactively identify and address issues with customer accounts
    • An initiative taker who enjoys working independently once you receive clear directions from the manager
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Eager to join a young, quickly-growing organization and team

    Quantity Surveyor

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and other documents with the designers and/or client.
    • Undertake costs analysis for project work and repairs and providing advice and forecasts about costs.
    • Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
    • Performing risk and value management and cost control.
    • Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
    • Provide advice on contractual arrangements and claims.
    • Value completed work and follow up on payments in liaison with the accounts team.
    • Maintain awareness of the different ongoing contracts/projects and follow up settlement of final accounts. 

    Requirements

    • 3 and above years’ experience in the same field.
    • Higher Diploma or Degree in Building Economics or Quantity Surveying.

    Job Brief

    We are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant who under general direction is responsible for the sale of the company’s offerings to contractors, designers and consulting engineers.

    The successful candidate will promote our value proposition to construction community by providing business and technical solution, build and manage long term customer relationships/partnerships with assigned accounts and will be responsible for customer satisfaction and loyalty while working in conjunction with operations partners.

    We expect the successful candidate to execute the sales process to aid in cultivating and managing long-term relationships and seek out, qualify and close new sales opportunities

    Responsibilities

    • Sells, with minimal supervision, our products persuasively, persistently and confidently to all members of the construction community to include contractors, consultants and designers while reaching optimal profit levels. Focuses on all opportunities to allow the company to achieve business objectives. Manages multiple, on-going, opportunities.
    • Builds partnering relationships with members of the construction community responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of our offerings. Actively listens, probes and identifies concerns. Understands the customer’s business cycle customer base. Demonstrates technical and business expertise and maintains a high level of credibility. Garners loyalty, trust and commitment from the customer.
    • Seeks out, targets and initiates contact with multiple prospective customers in alignment with our strategy. Develops and maintains a network of industry contacts. Understands and leverages the sales process outcomes as well as demonstrates evidence of advancing the sell. Shares technical knowledge plus business expertise with the customer to match the solution to the customer’s operational need and favourably positions us. Qualifies and assesses potential customers.
    • Addresses customer’s operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. Recommends solutions and links customer objectives to total value solution and competitive advantage. Differentiates our services and products from competitors by applying creativity, ingenuity, and innovation in a value added sales approach.
    • Positively and credibly influences strategies with the construction community. Frequently creates competitive, high quality and timely estimates, proposals, and cost/benefit analysis. Effectively writes, and presents proposals. Negotiates value, addresses resistance and closes the sale.
    • Utilizes applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in accounts. Leverages our sales process to close sales quickly. Manages the high activity of the pipeline in the managed system with a focus on sales phase, close date, and probability of a close as well as other pertinent information.
    • Employee has to set a minimum of 12-15 appointments with consultants, contractors etc. (stakeholders) on a weekly basis.
    • Keep detailed info on each potential client on file with as much information as possible like birthdays, spouses name, colleagues, main projects being worked on currently.
    • Have detailed understanding of all company’s products in order to be able to upsell when opportunities arise.
    • Detailed and comprehensive reports weekly back to HO.
    • Fully understands and ensures complete technical knowledge and know-how of key products.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required.
    • At least 3-5 years in technical sales.
    • Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.
    • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.
    • Have contacts or ability to develop relationships with contacts in key construction bodies (BORAQS, EBK etc.)
