Systems and Field Engineer at Koko Networks

Engineering experience required:

• Degree in electronics or systems engineering
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in an software/systems engineering role
• At ease with simple electronics & systems debugging
• Software development skills, in particular embedded systems (C / Arduino)
• Android/Web development skills a plus
• Ability to support remote problem-shooting & investigate issues in a systematic way.
• An enthusiasm and appreciation for test driven development
• Understanding and experience working with physical I/O on Android devices (USB, Bluetooth, WiFi) and the kinds of issues that arise and need to be designed for.

General skills:

• Ability to work autonomously and think on your feet
• Excellent observational skills and a forward thinking / planning attitude
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Interest in the customer experience and user journey of products
• Experience working in a SCRUM team setting across multiple locations
