Duties and Responsibilities

• Be a Community Development Officer at Ward or County level
• Coordinate, supervise and administer Community Programmes at Ward level
• Working with other staff at the Ward level in Social, Cultural and Sporting activities
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual updates
• Manage Social amenities at the Ward level in collaboration with ward administrators
• Secretary to the Cultural and Sports Committee at the Ward level
• Secretary to the Youth and Women fund at the Ward level
• Community mobilization in all Ward activities

Requirements for appointment

1. Be a Kenya citizen
2. Must Have Diploma in Community Development/ Social Works, Guiding and counseling or a relevant equivalent
3. Ability to work with Youth, Women and Persons with Disability
4. Computer literate
5. Being a direct entry position, the age should be between 20 -30 years
6. Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity
