Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Coordinator Job

• The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain Coordinator is to manage inventory, manage supply sources, to purchase materials, services to support production and anticipated demand.
• The Supply Chain Coordinator will develop sophisticated inventory management processes, protocols, and practices to ensure adequate redundancy to support growth and demand spikes; develop a supplier roster; introduce improvements and upgrades; and ensure alignment with scheduling and logistics.

Qualifications for the Supply Chain Coordinator Job

• Previous experience purchasing – 2 years
• Previous experience in a production/processing environment – 3 years
• Understanding of food processing practices
• Understanding of restaurant processes
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong hands-on knowledge of PC operating systems
• Microsoft Office Suite specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
