Software Developer (Intern) at Green Com Enterprise Solutions Ltd

About the Role

We are offering an exciting internship for recent ICT graduates who want hands-on experience building real-world software. Interns will join our development team and contribute to live projects. Candidates with an interest or experience in AI agent engineering, meaning systems where AI models reason, use tools and carry out tasks autonomously, will be given strong preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain software applications alongside senior developers.
• Build and experiment with AI agents and LLM-powered features, including prompt design, tool integration and workflow automation.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into company solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented and maintainable code.
• Take part in code reviews, team meetings and agile sprint activities.
• Troubleshoot, debug and improve existing systems.
• Research emerging AI and software development tools and share findings with the team.

Minimum Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or another ICT-related field.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or C#.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, including data structures, version control (Git) and databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)

• Experience building AI agents or LLM-based applications using APIs such as Claude, OpenAI or Gemini.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks and concepts such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) or containerisation (Docker).
• A portfolio, GitHub profile or personal projects demonstrating your skills, especially AI-related work.
