HTML Developer at Jumia Travel

Major Tasks, Responsibilities

As a HTML Developer for Jumia Travel, you will be part of a self-motivated, highly analytical, technical and business-oriented team. Your responsibilities include:

•  To code static pages and other type of digital needs using html & CSS skills
•  Deployment of overall email communications with customers;
•  Managing email templates and updating email contents using email HTML skills;
•  Ensuring all email responsiveness, email quality and high level of deliverability.
•  Providing practical solutions to improve email performance based on email marketing design benchmark;
•  Demonstrate a capacity to learn and to share technical innovation available.
•  Code and masters SQL queries in order to build dynamic content for CRM needs.
•  Coordination with our international teams for specific requests;
•  Very good understanding of marketing needs.
•  Share with the Team the latest innovation regarding HTML Code & Email technical management.
•  Other duties as may be assigned.

Profile requirements

•  2+ years of experience as web or email HTML developer
•  Degree in web development or related field;
•  Marketing sensitive
•  Advanced level of command on Email HTML, CSS and JavaScript and flexbox and debugging
•  Familiar with Photoshop and coding software such as Sublime Text or Notepad ++;
•  Fast learner, accurate, systematic and methodical;
•  Self-motivated and enjoy challenges;
•  Fluent English
•  SQL is a plus
•  Ability to organize and prioritize multi-tasks;
