Product Manager, CSquared at Google

As Product Manager , you have the opportunity to grow alongside CSquared. You bridge technical and business worlds as you design products with creative engineers and then zoom out to coordinate efforts with Sales, Business Development and Finance to successfully roll-out new products. You have a bias for action and can break down complex and ambiguous problems into steps that drive product development at the speed required in fast-paced SSA markets.

Responsibilities

• Define overall product strategy, product roadmap and technical/feature specifications for new products based on long-term product vision, end user and customer needs, technical and market trends, and platform capabilities.
• Work effectively with market research and in-depth knowledge of competitors and user pain points to inform a vision and strategy for the product roadmap.
• Create product requirement documents (PRD) including use cases, definition of user experience and feature specifications in order to detail how a product or product feature should be built out.
• Own and manage product life cycle from conception through to development and productization.
• Build process to develop and maintain a vibrant Internet provider ecosystem.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in developing products and technologies, from conception to market introduction.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or degree in a management, technical or engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in closing business opportunities within a technical environment.
• Understanding of the mobile and fixed wireless industry in SSA, and understanding in telecoms and internet product technologies.
• Understanding of all aspects of telecoms market and experience in shipping products as a wholesale.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, ability to identify business, commercial and user experience issues.
