    General Manager - Travel Company

    General Manager Job Responsibilities

    • Carry out the group strategy, develop tourism business, creative product planning and carry out media operations program.
    • Responsible for collecting national economic development, urban development planning and travel-related policy changes. Grasp the market demand, collect information resources development channels and suppliers, organize the project market research and planning positioning and make an accurate judgment.
    • Responsible for the entire management of the traveling projects in Kenya including preparation, fulfilling itinerary and complaint handling.
    • Responsible for the management of Traveling Dept., the management of projects and the organization of the development plan.
    • Responsible for the investment Feasibility Analysis of traveling projects, Integrate all kinds of cooperative resources to serve the project including the Supporting facilities resources and the business development.
    • Responsible for the construction of the operation system, personnel recruitment training assessment, team responsibilities, rules and regulations. Also develop SOPs and service standards, service programs, operating manuals and customer manuals.
    • Develop, implement and monitor continuous improvement methodologies and metrics to continually optimize performance.
    • Negotiate contracts on behalf of the company
    • Review all service providers contracts, ensure that standard procedures are followed when third parties are hired to offer products or services to the company
    • Full P&L responsibility; accounting, auditing and finance.
    • Responsible for the project operation and management model of research, income and cost analysis
    • Participate in the planning and positioning of new product projects, investment and development decision-making, business model research, project operation and management.
    • Coordinate the marketing planning, brand strategy planning, public relations planning and so on.
    • Handle all the company’s operation problems.

    Qualifications for the General Manager Job

    • Bachelor degree must.
    • Have a minimum of 7 years experience at senior management level in the Hospitality or Airline Industry
    • Experience working Overseas is a plus.
    • International sense of management and value view. Knowledgeable in the global trends in the travel industry
    • Passionate, Aggressive, Responsible, Professional, Creative, Excellent skill in negotiation and management.
    • Persons who are resourceful and have good government relationship are preferred
