Reporting and working relationships: Director, Agribusiness Programs

The Program Manager will sell Executive Agribusiness Programs in liaison with the Director, Agribusiness Programs. The person will build and cultivate sustainable key relationships with potential public and commercial partners, nationally and regionally.

Duties for the Sales Manager Job

• Selling Agribusiness Executive (EE) programs
• Proposal writing and responding to tenders on Agribusiness Programs
• Debt Management for assigned programs
• Plan, Coordinate and implement Agribusiness EE programs throughout the year
• Evaluate programs and provide feedback and communicate program status with the Director on a regular basis.
• Maintain program expenditure within budget parameters by working with the program directors and the team to establish and achieve revenue goals.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.

Sales Manager Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a direct sales related position with a proven performance track record in meeting sales targets.
• Bachelors degree with a minimum of Second Upper Class,
• Team player, with ability to work with different departments within the business school, faculty and executives in various programs,
• Should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strategic use of social media and other digital services as business tools,
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines,
• Organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and attention to detail,
• Ability to guide senior executives and business leaders in their day to day program activities.
• An agricultural background is not necessarily required.
