Chief of Party at IESC - International Executive Service Corps

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Provide overall leadership, management, and technical oversight for all project activities and deliverables;
• Serve as the primary liaison to USAID and Kenyan stakeholders and partners;
• Lead and manage the work of project personnel and subcontractors;
• Ensure that project assistance is technically sound and appropriate for each component;
• Work collaboratively with partners, specifically in the private sector, and stakeholders to implement program mission and strategy;
• Oversee project work planning, performance management, and strategic communications;

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors degree in economics, business, finance, international development, or other relevant field required; Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in international banking or investment banking, preferably on programs supporting financial sector development, access to finance or economic growth preferred; USAID experience preferred.
• 3 or more years experience as Chief of Party/Project Director on large ($40m +) USAID-funded program.
• Experience working in Kenya is highly preferred;
• English fluency required
