Temporary Procurement Assistant at Capital Markets Authority (CMA)

Job Description

The Capital Markets Authority is a statutory agency charged with the responsibility of regulating and developing an efficient capital market in Kenya. The Authority invites applications for the following position:

Responsibilities

• Providing support in tender / request for quotation evaluation
• Following up the award decisions to ensure delivery of goods / services
• Raising and processing purchase/service orders.
• Ensuring procurement documents and records are maintained, safeguarded and archived as required by law.
• Assisting in monitoring inventory levels in order to raise purchase orders as may be necessary
• Following up with service providers on contract execution
• Performing any other duties as assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply or a related field
• Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience
