    Account Manager

    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    • Be the main source of business for the company, working directly with the Directors, creative manager, production manager to support a variety of experiential and event marketing programs, nationally and within the East African region. The main duties will include;
    • Operates as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned client experiential and event marketing program.
    • Communicate with event properties and venues to secure display space, and negotiate access fees.
    • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, other stakeholders plus all relevant vendors.
    • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and objectives.
    • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly client and internal initiatives
    • Forecast and track key account metrics, providing suggestions for areas of improvement.
    • Prepare follow-up event recaps after each campaign.
    • Identify and grow opportunities with client – both for current projects and potential new campaigns.
    • Communicate with and coordinate brand ambassador staffing at client events
    • Coordinate event logistics; provide high-level attention to clients and field team.
    • Maintain and manage client budgets, and agency budgets as well.
    • Generate and submit client invoices, and follow-up payments/billings.
    • Actively participate in team meetings – including regular staff meetings, brainstorming sessions, project development and any other review sessions.
    • Actively participate in developing business leads and securing new customers.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • A personable, positive, hardworking and outgoing personality.
    • Bachelor’s degree or comparable degree in business, marketing, public relations, communications, or related field.
    • 3 years minimum proven experience in a similar role, managing and growing client relationship and/or account management.
    • Excellent verbal, presentation, written and email communication skills.
    • Collaborative and strong desire to work with others in teams.
    • An ultimate multi-tasker with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
    • Highly organized and detail focused.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
    • Experience in event/experiential marketing is a MUST.
    • Excellent knowledge of design & presentation softwares, i.e. quark express, CorelDraw, in-design, PowerPoint and other basic softwares (Word, Excel, etc.)
