Inventory Accountant at Duma works

Duma Works is recruiting an Inventory Accountant for one of our clients;The hiring company is Africa’s leading diversified packaging manufacturer.

Qualifications

• A holder of a B com degree in Accounting/Finance, Professional qualifications (CPA) ongoing but not below Sec III.
• Working experience and proficiency in any of the following areas; AR, AP, Cash management, Payroll, Inventory etc
• Proficiency in any ERP

Job Responsibilities

Stock management:

• Prepare yearly stock take schedule
• Coordinate the physical verification exercise with team leaders
• select stock take areas (Freeze warehouses)
• issue stock take sheets and stationary
• Print stock take forms
• Capture stock take
• Print stock variance reports
• Summarize stock count
• Summarize Packs received GRNS for credit notes raising
• Analyse stock scrapping for the month

Fixed Assets

• file the approved capex forms
• Analyse capex spend in the month
• file capex spend documents
• coordinate and participate in fixed assets verification exercise

Others

• Analyse Maintenance spend for the month
• Manual dispatch note checks
• stationery store
• analyse scrap sales
• Archives Management
• Any other duty that may be assigned
