Maintenance Officer at Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology (MMUST)

Job Description

• Master’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering with at least 3 years relevant practical experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering with 6 years relevant working experience 3 of which as Maintenance Officer Scale 9 or its equivalent
• Higher National Diploma in Building in Building construction or Civil and Structural Engineering with 8years relevant working experience 3 of which as Maintenance Officer Scale 9 or its equivalent.
• They must be registered by the relevant professional body.

Job Responsibilities

• Reporting to senior maintenance officer, the candidate will be responsible for allocating duty to AMOs
• Preparation of monthly reports
• Preventive maintenance surveillance, supervision on use of materials to avoid lose,
• Providing advice on the necessary new equipment needed to enhance efficiency.
• The applicant must also be able to undertake building structural design and construction site supervision of projects.
• He/she must be registered by the relevant professional body.
