    IT Internship

    Overall Purpose

    The selected candidate will be assisting the Information Technology department in various tasks as outlined below.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide computer support via telephone, email and face-to-face contact
    • Assist in performing hardware and software installation procedures
    • Able to diagnose hardware and software issues when reported
    • Assist in periodic maintenance of hardware and software
    • Take user support requests and take measures to fulfil requests
    • Assist in hardware and software inventory management
    • Provide technical support to workshops and meetings onsite and off-site including preparation, installation and operation of equipment.
    • Troubleshoot equipment such as printers and scanners and other peripherals
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Pursuing or a current holder of a degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a relevant field.
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Must be highly motivated, a self-starter
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • We are looking for recent graduates, having graduated within the last two years (2016-2017)
