Senior Civil Engineer at National Environment Management Authority (NEMA)

Job Responsibilities

• Inspection of commercial and residential development sites for compliance with environmental laws and regulations;
• Ensuring adequacy of designs submitted as addendum to applications for licensing under Environmental Management and
• Coordination Act (EMCA) cap 387 regulations
• Attending to civil engineering compliance and enforcement issues addressed to the Authority from lead agencies and advice the
• Director Compliance and Enforcement accordingly.
• Assisting procurement section with necessary support for tendering process in respect of civil engineering contracts.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (Bsc) Degree in Civil Engineering, or any other related field from a recognised institution.
• Knowledge in Computer Applications.
• Working experience in the field of civil engineering for at least three (3) years will be an added advantage.
