    News Directors

    This role is responsible for news direction operations.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES

    • Manage station news brand on broadcast and digital platforms
    • Oversees informative, competitive, highly rated news bulletins and breaking news
    • Works with departments across the station to involve all employees in the news gathering process
    • Provide newsroom leadership direction, coaching, mentoring and supervision to employees
    • Monitor newscasts for accurate editorial content while keeping brand vision on track
