Radio Presenter at Standard Group

This role is responsible for being the voice of the station or programme and creating the tone and style of radio output and establishing a relationship with listeners.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Create the tone and style of the radio output and establish a relationship with listeners.
• Able to present music on radio work catering for all musical tastes and present on topical talk shows with light entertainment and comedy.
• Will be required to present live or recorded shows, scripted and unscripted.
• Will be required to write scripts or work from a brief supplied by other members of a production team.
• Will be required to conduct interviews with contributors in a studio or over the phone handle debates or phone-ins, or host live events.
• May be required to operate various radio studios, and to record audio both in studios and on location
• Monitoring listener feedback and contributing to responses to comments or programme feedback.
• Working hours are varied and may involve early mornings, late nights and overnights, as well as working weekends or holidays and may involve frequent travels around the country
