Supply Chain Management Officer III at Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI)

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry grade into this cadre. An officer in this level will work under guidance and supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail:

•  Procuring, distributing, utilizing, and assisting in verification and control of stores.
• Inventory and disposal of stores.
• Processing requisitions.
• Reporting shortages and losses of stores.

Requirements for Appointment

For direct appointment to this grade a candidate must have:-

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C (Plain) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
• Diploma in supplies Management or professional stage Diploma in Supply chain Management from chartered institute of purchasing and supply (CIPS) or Materials Management Programme/course (professional/final stage) from the Kenya School of Government or its equivalent from a recognized institution
