Project Background:

Job responsibilities:

The Field Officer will report to the Regional Coordinator and will be based in the county.

The role will primarily include the following;

• Attendance monitoring on the selected project schools
• Data collection, entry and management of field data
• Getting official project documents signed by schools
• Training teachers on iMlango equipment and portal
• Offering technical support to the schools
• Enhancing customer relationship between project and the school
• Setting the benchmark for best practices within the project
• Assist line manager in creation of work plans and schedules.
• Roll out micro-finance initiative in the selected schools.
• Performing regular quality checks.

Job requirements:

• A degree or diploma in education or ICT or equivalent;
• Experience in running community-based field activities;
• Must have developed good intercultural orientation;
• Interest in and willingness to travel within Kenya;
• Adaptable, flexible nature Originate or reside in the project county
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with all the stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good reporting skills as per the donor expectations
