Harvest Data Officer at Komaza Kenya

About this Role

The Harvest data system is a critical supportive function built around the department’s operations. Through collecting, proper storage, and analysis of data, the system supports logistics, tracks progress of tasks, and measures team performance. The data collected also forms the basis of exploring new process changes. As the Harvest Data Officer, you will run, maintain, quality check, and troubleshoot the harvest data system.

What You Will Do

• Take the lead in the management of the Harvest data system varying from maintenance and improvement  of the databases, dashboards, and data collection systems in G-suites, SurveyCTO or other similar software
• Carry out continuous quality checks to ensure that Harvest data is clean
• Perform weekly reporting and update departmental KPIs.
• Create and maintain weekly dashboards for a range of Harvest data.
• Support the creation of new data systems to support front-line, operational, and strategic planning and decision-making
• Research and trial new software that can help the Harvest team make decisions through data
• Work with the rest of the Harvest Department to support execution of harvest field activities, when necessary

What You Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Statistics, Mathematic, or related field
• Minimum of one years’ experience in systems design, logistics, field operations & management
• Strong data analysis and presentation skills
• Start-up and/orSocial Enterprise experience greatly advantageous

• Proficient in customizing data tools for specific target group        `
