AutoCAD Draughtsman at Wisen HR Services

Our client, a manufacturer and custom builder of canopy tents, marquees, tarpaulins and a wide range of customized canvas products, is hiring an AutoCAD Draughtsman.

Job purpose summary:

Responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. The role involves discussing with clients and understanding their needs before making design decisions.

 Key responsibilities

• Consult with client and carry out site survey to aid in designs and drawings.
• Prepare technical designs, drawings and costing bills of quotations.
• Carry out site layout for all designed projects in conjunction with technical department.
• Present designs and drawing to the client for approval.
• Supervise design projects.
• Sketch out ideas or create renderings, which are images on paper or on a computer that provide a better visual of design ideas.

Job Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering e.g. civil, mechanical or structural.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in designing and drawing of shade systems like shade sails, canopies, car parking shades.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD design software
• Knowledgeable in the of engineering and excel spreadsheet.
• Possess exceptional creativity and innovation
• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• Have an understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
• Have professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
