Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for Designing, fabricating, joining and repairing equipment, fixtures and structures by using various welding techniques.

His responsibilities will include

• Operating drill presses, power saws, grinders and a variety and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools
• Analyzes plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequences of welding assignments. Estimate material and labour
• Recommends supplies and materials to be ordered Skills in fabrication, joining and repairs of a variety of metal objects, equipment, fixtures and structures

Qualifications

• Government Trade Test(I) in welding Knowledge of welding techniques, (Oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, and TIG), tools and equipment
• Minimum of 5 years' experience
• Hands on Form Four level of education with a pass in KCSE
• Be over 35 years of age
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to work in a team with a minimum supervision
• Residing in Kitengela or its environs.
