POSITION SUMMARY

The purpose of the position is to provide graphic and design support while adhering to Crystal Perk policies and procedures.

The Graphics Assistants will be responsible for the designing of information and communication materials for the company’s’ use for both internal and external purposes. This role offers the interns total concepts and ideas for the Creativity, production of a range of literature, illustration work and signage.

SPECIFIC ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contribute to creative ideas and update the online e-commerce site;
• Propose and update designs for corporate promotional products and Designing for print ready material/ digital media files
• convert complex and abstract ideas into simple visual concepts and Develop graphics for illustrations and branding
• Select colors, images, text style, and layout for graphic material and Present the design to clients or the art director
• Incorporate changes recommended by the clients into the final design and Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
• determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
• Creating/sourcing new graphics (images, banners, motion videos) for our web platform and its channels
• Assist in the creation and deployment of UI/UX designs on our web platform
• Updating/creating corporate marketing materials to meet specific goals (digital).
• Developing a library of branding internal communication templates.
• Will be tasked with working on different design projects either with the team, or independently.
• Will be responsible for receiving a brief and research, devise and develop concepts based off them focused.
• Keep an open mind as you are often required to work on existing company projects, and on occasion, on new projects in development. Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for social media and other communication platforms.
• Present ideas and concepts to the team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Graphic Design Degree/Diploma or equivalent.
• Superior written, verbal, and visual communication skills and an entrepreneurial attitude;
• Knowledge in the following software packages: Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photo shop, Illustrator, In Design
• Background in design, photography, content creation for at least 2years
• A recent graduate or in final year.

• Must be very creative: Capable of coming up with creative ideas and concepts
• The ability to Design and deliver a range of advertising literature, illustration work and signage to a high quality and standard.
• Ability to deliver and complete projects in a timely manner following the guidance from the director Creative Studio.
• Flexible and willing to perform tasks outside of core duties.
