    Acquisition Manager - Home Channel

    Job Description

    We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Market Development department within the Regional Sales Operations Division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

    Reporting to the Senior Manager – Home Channel, the individual will be responsible for driving uptake of Home Solutions, Terminals (home solutions related) and in the market through available channels to ensure growth of Revenue, Data usage, and growth of ARPU.   He/ She will coordinate cascade of Home solutions execution direction to the regional teams to ensure success of all product campaigns. 

    Job Responsibilities

    • Ensure increased revenue generation and achievement of set targets through Home solutions sales and content sales for data traffic growth
    • Drive achievement of Channels Net Promoter Score (NPS) target
    • Develop BTL marketing campaigns in liaison with relevant stakeholders in support of Home solutions campaigns.   
    • Drive adoption of content as a service aid for home channel adoption
    • Champion, support and Coordinate with relevant teams to increase Home solutions /Internet/Data products through the channels.
    • Provide timely reports for all campaigns and suggest areas of improvements to deliver against the business objectives.
    • Manage Home solutions Products POSM for all available channels countrywide. 
    • Develop activations  for new channels developed and reseller models
    • Develop training and Communication strategy for Strategic product campaigns in liaison with stakeholders
    • Champion training within all available channels with regards to Strategic Products, Terminals and Data products. 
    Qualifications

    Job Qualifications

    • Degree from a recognized university preferably in Sales/ Marketing or business management
    • 4 – 6 Years’ experience in Sales or Retail and preferable.
    • 3 Years’ experience in internet sales in a telco environment
    • Conversant with Safaricom/telecommunication data products.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate) coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills.
    • Proactive, confident, energetic and able to work under pressure with a positive attitude and use good organization skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal, Decision making and planning and Organization skills.
