Associate Dentist at Gentle Dental Care Clinic

We are looking for the ideal person to join our practice as an Associate Dentist.

The successful candidate will work in our two dental practices in Nairobi.

Requirements :

The candidate must be registered as a dentist in Kenya with a minimum qualification of Bachelors in DentalSurgery and at least three years post qualification experience.

The person must be proficient in all areas of clinical work in the following areas :

Conservative Dentistry, Periodontology, Prosthodontics including crown and bridge work, Pediatric Dentistry And must have a working knowledge of Implantology and practical experience in Orthodontics; Minor Oral surgery.

Responsibilities:

The Associate Dentist will carry out the following duties :

• Comprehensive Diagnosis and reactors taking of each patients medical and dental history
• Full mouth Treatment planning
• Diagnostic X Rays and Intraoral Digital Records including dental impressions. All dental records will be paperless and the dentist must become proficient in our dental management software.
• Oral hygiene and general medical and dental information and advice and congenial interaction with patients in an appropriate professional chairside manner.
• Treatment and management of all existing dental conditions including dental fillings inlays crowns bridges periodontal treatments ortho cases ; minor oral surgery cases and Dental implants.
• The Dentist will be expected to interact fully with fellow dentists and co-supervise the clinical management of patients and be aware of appointments along with the dental nurses and front office.
• The Dentist will be involved in CSR ; free dental checkups and social media interaction with the public regarding dental health.
• The Dentist must accept and agree to abide by the Practice Ethics and Standards Of Practice Manual.

Renumeration And terms of Service : This is a full time job and will require a n energetic and enthusiastic person willing to work at least five days a week.
