Duties and responsibilities

• Carry out sample analysis to give results to clinicians for proper patient management.
• Packaging of specimen from patient and sending them to referred labs.
• Recording of tests results to maintain data for future reference.
• Preparation and submission of reports to different authorities for accountability of supplies and surveillance.
• Stock taking of lab commodities to avoid stock outs or overstocking.
• Quality control.

Qualifications and skills

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
• 2 year experience in a hospital
• Registered with the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board.
• A good team player
• Good communication skills (both written and oral)
• Computer literacy
• Accuracy
• Integrity
